Publisher's Summary
Anxiety - it's the worst: choking, stifling, smothering, tingling, panicking, brain cutting out, bad decisions. You're a human being, so you know exactly what's being said here.
Dr. Faith Harper lays it all out: what anxiety is, what it's good for - that's right, it's actually a necessary response that helps to keep us alive in bad situations - how to know when it's gone overboard, and practical tips on how to deal with it when it gets bad. This book is a lifesaver for panic attacks, breaking out of flight-or-fight-or-freeze responses, and for chronic anxiety. It's also good for folks who aren't daily burdened by anxiety, but want to better cope with those tough situations that affect us all. Listen to this and breathe!

Annoying
The swearing was annoying and distracting. This author takes "dumbing down" to a new low.

Profanity was more prevalent than content
Positive
The narrator was easy to listen
Brief descriptive content was good
Short and to the point
Negative
The amount of profanity in this was uncalled for. The information could have been presented without it. I would not recommend it because of this.

Embarrassing
Cringe-worthy fail at trying to be funny, sound cool, and be irreverent. Basically only succeeds at being crass. I'm glad this was included and didn't cost me anything.

Far too much vulgar language
I really don't see why they decided to cheapen the message with a bunch of foul language. Any professional book that I know of does not have nearly this many swears, if any. It just ruined the book for me and made me completely miss the message. I understand swearing, I listen to GaryVee and love his message, but you can tell that it's not just swearing for the sake of swearing. When you write a book and have somebody else narrate it, it comes across as gratuitous vulgarity.

Why all the swearing and "y'all" just sounds dumb.
It was short and some good thoughts but presentation was bad. Good use of the english language is becoming uncommon.

Swearing? Why necessary?
The info is useful, although nothing new. If the swearing was supposed to make this book more reader friendly, does the author automatically assume that most people dealing with mental health issues automatically reach for the F*** to make themselves feel better? Lame attempt to try to be cool.

No filthy ( F) language would be better
No filthy language would be more appropriate. Speaking Bad languages is sin that again God. For sure, life would be have wars as God told us in the bible. I would suggest the writer and the reader if they could stop speaking F Languages, which it's good benefit for everyone including themselves. Speaking No F language still can deliver clearly the message, can't it?

Had to shut it off
There was far too much swearing & I could not get past this to even hear the message. I don’t get the purpose of the swearing—does author thinks it makes her relatable? I am glad I didn’t have to pay for this audible book…terrible!

Um... it’s a start
This may be more helpful for beginners. Someone else already said this, but the author “dumbs it down” quite a bit and throws in a lot swearing, which I found off putting. It is a quick read/listen, like a summary on anxiety. However, many of the techniques suggested are often recommended and do work with practice. So, it was a good reminder.

Robotic and Unhelpful Language
The narrator was poor, and the unnecessary usage of poor language was distracting, made worse by said poor narration.
