Publisher's Summary

From USA Today and Amazon Charts best-selling author Meghan Quinn comes a brand-new romantic comedy about a one-night stand gone completely wrong. Laugh-out-loud and steamy with a heart-stopping happily ever after.

I knocked up my best friend's sister.

Figured I would get straight to the point, because how it happened is a mere snippet of the story I have to tell. The real meat and potatoes is what happened after.

Let's start with how she decided to inform me and Pacey the news...together. Imagine that nightmare. I was going into what I thought was a hockey marketing meeting, and then bam! I'm going to be a dad and my best friend/teammate is attempting to imprint my face with his fist.

It wasn't pretty.

Threats were tossed around, friendships were revoked, and then I was marched up to her apartment, suitcases in hand, and forced to live with her so I could take care of her every need. Given how much I've pined for the girl, you would think that wouldn't be a hardship. Wrong.

This is my one shot to win my teammate back. Pacey is the only family I've got, so hooking up with his sister isn't a mistake I can make twice...despite the fact that she's pregnant with my child.

But with every mood swing, every pair of pants that doesn't fit right, and every late night run to find the perfect donut, I'm finding it harder and harder not to fall for my best friend's little sister.

Especially when she kisses me....

Love Eli but Penny…

It’s been awhile since I wanted to leave a review for this book but I didn’t seem to find the right words to it to express my correct emotions. I rewrote this several times and here’s what I think:

Everything that I loved - Eli. He’s everything good that this story has. He’s sweet, talented and once he finds out that his teammate sister who he had a hot night together, is pregnant, he changes everything to make right by her. At some point he even goes to therapy to deal with his abandonment issues. He threats her so well and although he doesn’t say the words, he shows her through actions his ultimate love for her.

I also laughed out loud with the appearances of his friends and also in the beginning of this book when Eli and Penny didn’t know how to properly communicate and said the most funny and absurd things to each other.

The Downfall - Penny. Honestly, at beginning I thought she was funny and dealing with discover of her pregnancy must be hard. But then, talk about a 180. Her antics wasn’t funny anymore, they were downright pitiful and mean, especially towards Eli. She seemed like a 2 year old kid throwing a tantrum when she didn’t get what she wanted. I really couldn’t sympathize with her, at all. There was no excuse for her behavior.

I love surprise pregnancy tropes and if you want to read this book, go with your mind open in Penny related and be ready to love Eli, with all your strength. There’s also good hockey scenes which I enjoyed as well.

Good Story but Annoying Female

I have read almost every one of M. Quinn’s books and I absolutely love them! Her stories are top notch and her characters are so easy to fall in love with! With her characters light hearted humor and steamy one liners they usually become very down-to-earth and swoon worthy BUT the main female role in this book is TOO MUCH! I don’t know if Quinn was purposely making Penny neurotic because she was pregnant or what but I almost didn’t get through this book because of this character. I love Eli and many of the other characters but I can’t handle dramatic ones like Penny who hide in closets when they are upset and habitually lie when they get caught in awkward situations. Her behavior in many parts made me cringe and not in an “that was embarrassing but funny/cute” way. I hope for those first time readers of Quinn’s books, that they try almost any other title of hers because they are fantastic and the character development of Penny was not an accurate representation of Quinn’s work!

Eli is Swoony!

Overall, great read. I will say that the heroine’s hormonal antics were honestly an embarrassment to pregnant women everywhere. Just way too OVER-THE-TOP! Other than that, I really enjoyed this story. Loved Eli! Fantastic narration.

Laugh-out-loud, swoon-worthy romance!!

Sweet delicious awkward apples! Those Three Little Words by Meghan Quinn was a laugh-out-loud accidental pregnancy romance I didn’t know I needed in my life! Meghan is the queen of witty hilarious banter and smooth steamy dirty talk that will have you completely and utterly cheering and swooning over Eli and Penny to find their very own HEA with their new family of three.

This audiobook is narrated in duet by Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton, and wow did they both deliver in all the best ways! This may be one of my new favorite performances by them both. Kelsey gives so much life to strong, determined Penny. I loved how well Kelsey portrayed the various stages of hormonal, pregnant Penny. From uncomfortable, to super turned on, to just a bit crazy; Kelsey makes you feel all the things in her performance! Teddy Hamilton was sinful and swoony as Eli Hornsby. Teddy also does an amazing job showcasing Eli’s vulnerable side from his past but also conveys his caring, and loyal side as he cares for Penny. (so dreamy!) Kelsey and Teddy will also make you chuckle with their spot-on comedic timing, and burn up your earbuds with Eli and Penny’s steamy chemistry.

Overall, I loved this book! If you love an accidental pregnancy romance with a hot hunky hockey player, a sassy fierce social media influencer, a wild birthday night to remember, a protective older brother, awkward text exchanges, apples, watching Ozark, all the hormonal pregnancy outbursts, Dr. Big Pecs, lots and lots of spicy times (whew!), gummy bears, unexpected parent visits, and a HEA that will melt your heart and make you swoon over those three little words, then you will adore Eli and Penny’s story! This book may now be one of my absolute favorites, and I always look forward to more from Meghan Quinn!

Romantic Comedy at its best

Let me start by saying that if you listen to a Meghan Quinn audiobook while out in public you better be ready to make a fool out of yourself with lots of laugh out (really) loud moments with a few snorts and coughs. I swear people will look at you like you just escaped from a looney bin. Meghan's books are my favorite to listen to anytime of day. I especially love listening to them while I'm getting ready for work in the mornings, or while I am out running errands, or simply browsing the stores. They truly just bring me such joy and laughter. Those Three Little Words was no different. It was filled with so many hilarious moments, but it was also so heartwarming and tender.

Narrated by Kelsey Navarro (who is becoming one of my favorites) and Teddy Hamilton (love him), Those Three Little Words , which can be read as a standalone is the second book in The Vancouver Agitators Series. I have not read the first book, Kiss & Don't Tell (Pacey and Winnie's story) so the characters were all new to me. [Side Note: I will be starting Kiss & Don't Tell today]. Not only did I love the main characters Penny and Eli, but I also loved Taters, Holmes, Blakely, Winnie (and even Pacey). The relationships, friendships, meddling made this book even more fantastic. This book was full of so many of my favorite tropes:

Sports Romance
Surprise Pregnancy
Workplace Romance
Brother's Best Friend/Teammate
Best Friend/Teammate's Sister
Forced Proximity
One Night Stand

Penny Lawes handles the social media for the Vancouver Agitators. She is funny, quirky, and full of sass. Oh - she is also OFF LIMITS to any of her brother, Pacey's teammates, but Eli Hornsby has had a little thing for Penny since he first saw her two years ago, but out of respect to his best friend and teammate Pacey he has never made a move on her. When a "chance" encounter at a bar on Valentine's Day (and Eli's birthday) brings these two together they decide to indulge in some consenting adult play time for one night only. I mean, nobody else needs to know, right?

These two were in for a ride. I really loved Eli. He had a playboy reputation that followed him, but he was one of the most honest guys. My heart ached for Eli. The man had serious abandonment issues, but he was working through them. [Another Side Note: I was not a fan of whoever Eli's therapist was]. Tators was better at giving him advice. I do love how committed Eli was to the entire situation with Penny, but at the same time I can see how this was confusing to Penny, who was already going through a lot of hormonal and emotional changes. Penny - Penny - Penny - she did a complete 180 from that first night with Eli. I love how real her mood swings were throughout her pregnancy. The pranks, the cravings, the emotions, the irrational tactics were so accurate. I loved that we got to experience it all with her. Poor Eli just went along with it all even if the man was confused and irritated. These two were a perfect match. They were both extremely patient with trying to understand one another. I really love that we got to experience their relationship growth (their fears, their emotions, their love).

- Some of my favorite parts:
**Penny breaking the news to Eli and Pacey.**
**The unexpected visit from Penny's parents.**
**Eli's first appointment with Penny.**
**Penny going out for donuts at 2 a.m.**
and so much more.

I'm going to listen to Pacey and Winnie's story and then jump right into a re-listen of this one right after

Difficult story to complete- annoying female lead

The character Eli was a saint compared to Penny.

The last 1/3 of this story is painful

Really enjoyed the male character but Penny is so immature and annoying it was truly difficult to finish. Enjoyed other Quinn books more than this one.

Hilarious pregnancy references

Loved all the pregnancy insanity. Makes me have a new found appreciation for my husband and everything he had to endure during the pregnancies of our three kids.

The narration really adds to my love of the book.
