Summary

Willa Doon has always been shy. Her quiet demeanor was something she's always embraced. That is until Jackson Page moves to town. The one man she desperately wants to take notice struggles to remember her name.

Year after year, Willa stands by, watching as the bartender/playboy drowns his demons in beer and sex. Then one night, he shows up at her door, suddenly aware that the girl he's seen around Lark Cove is now a beautiful woman.

Except what he doesn't remember is that this visit isn't his first. They spent a night together once before. A night he's forgotten, thanks to a bottle of tequila.

A night that crushed a timid girl's heart and set a broken man on the path to heal them both.

Started the series with the first book, but this second book got me hooked!!! The story was amazing, same narrators as the first book in the series and they do a great job together. The spice was also well written.

Love the story

This book was as great as I remembered. This is the second time I’ve read it and I can’t wait to now continue the series. I’m hoping one of the next books is about Hazel.

Great addition to the series

I loved Willa and Jackson together! Jackson is the playboy in town that Willa has had a crush on for years. After a night of drinking, Jackson kisses Willa but when the next day comes, he doesn’t remember a thing. At first, I was NOT a fan of Jackson and his play boy attitude - like come on, he couldn’t even remember Willa’s name. I felt for her because what girl wants her crush of years not see her in the same way she sees him. As the story went on and Jackson came to his senses, I love how perfect Willa and Jackson were with one another and how Willa helped Jackson finally let someone in and fall in love.
