I was mentally prepared to not like this book as much as the Ruinous Love trilogy after seeing the teasers… but of course it’s equally fantastic!! Colourful storytelling with hilarious portrayal of seriously uncomfortable situations. I devoured it in 2 days. The narrators were perfect and fit together so smoothly.

I read this book last year & decided to do a reread by listening to the audiobook before picking up Harvest Season! First, I need to say that Samantha Brentmoor & Robert Hatchet were the perfect narrators for this book! They captured Harper & Nolan’s dynamic perfectly 🙂‍↕️ they also did an amazing job bringing the other characters to life. AND this was narrated in duet 🙌

This was so much FUN! I loved getting to know Harper after the glimpse we got of her in Butcher & Blackbird.

Nolan pissed me off at first because I love Harper but their dynamic was also so entertaining. And try as he might, he fell so hard for her 🤭 all of the small things he kept doing to help her out when he didn’t need to… yeah.

The way this book ended was so RUDE. That cliffhanger?!! Oh my GOD. THAT EPILOGUE??? God, I can’t wait for the next book 👀
