Another amazing book in this series!

I loved it so much. This one had a bit more of that forbidden aspect, some grumpy x sunshine, but had the similar fighting their feelings vibes.

There is also a bit more past trauma/depth in this one than I would say in book one.

Such a great read!

With this book, Paisley Hope has solidified herself as an author I will now auto buy. She just knows what my heart wants and she delivers every time. Her characters are just always relatable, lovable and her MMCs in particular are perfection in my eyes. Wade Ashby is a very grumpy rancher, and Ivy is a sunny horse trainer, and they are working together to train a horse for the Kentucky Derby. Right from the start, the sparks start flying.

I really loved that they both have past wounds to heal and they help each other through it. The way he completely falls for her was delightful, and the spice was spicy as is always true with Paisley.

I highly recommend the audiobook. The narrators were excellent at bringing this book to life.

Infinity stars - No notes, absolute perfection. I completely devoured this book and I am a Wade and Ivy STAN.

Workplace romance with a grumpy cowboy boss? Immediate yes. The spice in this book was SO SO HOT. Wow this might be one of Paisley’s most spicy books and let’s just say there’s a few scenes that will forever live rent free in my head.

The writing was poor (adolescent-like) and I dropped it after the first sex scene. I found parts of it to be problematic.

I did finish the first book (but found it boring), and thought I'd give this second one a chance... Needless to say, I won't be continuing this series.

P.s. I don't know why all the male characters need to have monstrous-sized willies, but it's a bit much. I find it takes away from the story...
