Narration makes the story
I enjoyed this book and did not spot the killer until the very end. The only negative is when the narrator "meows" for the cat. For some reason it sets my teeth on edge - and I like cats? Just a personal quirk.

It takes an incredible talent to write a compelling murder mystery and still manage to keep it light and fun. The Oxford Tearoom Mysteries audio is what you get when you combine wonderful characters, amazing narration and an author whose execution is second to none.

Not my favorite
I read the prequel, plus books one and two and loved them. I found myself kind of bored in book three. I’m considering book four because I love cats... but on second thought that’s the only annoying sound the narrator makes - Musely’s Meow... I highly recommend the first couple of books in this series. Unfortunately this one just fell flat for me.

I loved it
This was the first book by H.Y. Hanna that I have listened to. I thought that Pearl Hewitt did an exceptionally good job with her performance of the various characters. I would classify this listen as a cozy mystery to me instead of nail bitter. I enjoyed the story. I especially loved the kitty antics and the way they were performed. Pearl Hewitt is very talented. This book is part of a series and I found it to be a good standalone. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it.

I almost passed series b/c of the cover pic....
it just looks like it's advertising to 10-year-old girls maybe. But they are great books. I am so glad I gave it a listen because it's really fun. . Great cozy mysteries in a beautiful setting (Oxford, England) and charming characters. . I wish they were a little longer!

Kill that damn cat
I love this series, and I adore animals, but that f’n cat needs to go. Whoever thought it was a good idea for the narrator to “meow” like a cat is a Moron! This is annoying to the point of struggling to continue listening.

Another FUN Oxford mystery at Gemma’s Tea Room.
I love the characters that continue on with each book. This is my third book.
Cozy British mystery that’s light and easy, but I wasn’t able to guess the ending.
I’ll enjoy another soon. The reader is just right for the stories.
