Exceptional!

It's not an easy reading nor listening, but extremely rewarding. Performance is excellent and helps a lot.

Sublime

The greatest novel ever written--splendidly performed by a talented Irish-born cast.

The novel, essentially, takes the very best that literature has offered, from Homer to Ibsen, and improved it in a way that no other fiction writer has come close to.

I can't be the only one

who did not understand this book or struggled to finish it. But I did persevere and completely finished listening to the book, and I am proud of myself for this accomplishment. I wanted to read Ulysses because it is on the ten best books ever written list and because it is by James Joyce. I certainly had trouble rating this book. Deep respect to those of you who can say they TRUTHFULLY understood this book.
