About this listen
My new roommate has the worst taste in men. I mean, Murph's special. He's funny and flamboyant and full of life.
While I'm straight, even I can tell these guys aren't good enough for him. I had to yell at one date, toss another one out the door, and throw a beer in another's face.
Kind of embarrassing, really. I don't know what's gotten into me.
I ask my sister what's wrong with me and she says I'm jealous. Jealous? Please. Me? Come on.
Only thing is, I hate the thought of Murph kissing any guy. Ever.
Except, maybe . . . me?
Contains mature themes.

Story30
Harrison Phillip Fletcher III isn't supposed to be here. Not in Burlington, Vermont, not running Vino & Veritas, a quaint inclusive bookstore and wine bar, and definitely not still alive, at 42. Also not supposed to be here? An unexpected delivery of chickens. Finn Barnes knows chickens. The burly organic farmer knows all about rare breed poultry, but dealing with a hot older bookseller is an entirely different matter. City-slicker types like Harrison never end up staying in Vermont for the long-term. They should steer clear of each other. But the flare of attraction is mutual.

I'm not the obvious choice to run Burlington's coolest wine bar - quiet, brooding, clueless about tannin content, and always one wrong turn away from another downward spiral. But no one seems to mind that I'm a wreck. Besides me. I just focus on getting through each shift until the night a beautiful stranger appears, looking as lost and damaged as I feel.

Being a hit man has its perks, but I never thought getting an accidental mooning by an attractive PI while he’s caught on a fence would be one of them. While it’s not exactly love at first sight, he’s captured my interest and won’t let go. Suddenly, I find myself caught in a game of cat and mouse, determined to attract the attention of Jackson, the PI who should be my enemy. He pretends like he’s not flattered by my flowers and the mentions of my totally-not-fictitious blow-up doll, Randy (or was it Dandy?), but I know better.

Blue: When my ex walks into the resort bar with his new husband on his arm, I want nothing more than to prove to him that I've moved on. Thankfully, the sexy stranger sitting next to me is more than willing to share a few kisses in the name of revenge. It gets even better when those scorching kisses turn into a night of fiery passion. The only problem? Turns out the stranger's brother is marrying my sister later this week.

Getting into the vampire-only detective unit was the easy part. What’s going to be more difficult is dealing with my new partner - an ancient vampire who keeps threatening to eat me. The unit has never had a human in it. Marcus - or, as I like to call him: Fangy McFangface - would really prefer to keep it that way. He’s grumpy, short-tempered, and broody, but I have a way with words, and I know he’s starting to like me, even if he swears he’s not.

Story21
I’ve had a crush on my brother’s best friend since the moment I laid eyes on him four years ago. Warner Ramsey is 225 pounds of pure hotness, a media darling, and one of the best NFL quarterbacks in the league. Hell, he’s the reason I figured out I’m solidly bi. It was easy to keep my crush under control when I was in college. Now, we play for the same team, and every time he talks smack, I want to shut him up. With my mouth.

I'm trapped in the middle of nowhere with the sexiest man I've ever seen... what could possibly go wrong? My family sent me here thinking it would help lift my mood. When I think about it now, I realise I didn’t give nearly enough thought to what it would be like, or what I’d be doing on a farm. If anything, I had a vague, nebulous notion that it would be like some sort of retreat. Boy, was I wrong. Far from relaxing, I now find myself tending to actual sheep. If you knew me at all, you’d know how preposterous that is.

I left my family and tiny Texas hometown 15 years ago to escape small-town gossips and to give my mom and sister the chance at a better life. But when a phone call from an attorney back home informs me that my sister passed away, leaving me custody of her newborn baby, I'm shocked out of the steady life I've built for myself running a tattoo shop in San Francisco. The thing is: I don't do babies. And I don't do small towns. Or commitment. And I especially don't do family.

When I’m tossed into the trunk of a car, I realize that what little luck I have has finally run out—especially when I find that Tony, the man who’d abducted me, is planning on using me to get back at my father. My chances for escape look pretty bleak when I’m handcuffed to Tony’s bodyguard, an intimidating man named Shepherd who apparently loves tight shirts and seems to be amused by making my life miserable. Soon, though, I learn that Shepherd has a heart and a brain.

Story11
Of all the people who could have seen me when I was at my most vulnerable, it had to be him. Caleb. My stepbrother and the golden child of our messed up blended family. We barely know each other, but for some reason, he takes care of me when an incident at the club leaves me helpless and alone. He hates me as much as I hate him, but something about his bossy attitude and unflappable calm soothes me. I don't want to want him, but no one has ever made me feel the way he does.

Good but dragged on in the final act
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
Story - started off good but resorted to cliched gay stereotypes by the end. They also resorted to the villainous, scheming ex-trope.
Performance - I find Tim Paige and Iggy Toma to be excellent narrators. Unfortunately, I found Iggy Toma to be barely tolerable in the role of Murph, an out and proud gay man. Just too laden with stereotypes, and the dialog was over the top and unoriginal.
Overall- There's much better mindless, entertaining MM romance out there.
Started good - too many cliche tropes
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
Jason is literally the perfect man in my opinion—he’s kind, open, strong, gentle, passionate, and is somehow oblivious and incredibly emotionally intelligent at the same time; listening to him go through the journey of finding himself and having few growing pains throughout the process bc it all things lead to Murph and above all else, Murph was what he wanted—even when he didn’t know it, was cathartic and beautiful. It certainly paints the picture of a world where love wins out above all else and how if we find the right person we don’t need to change, but we shape each-other and ourselves into…more.
Murph is life. He’s light and bright, joyous and deep, complex, and a most incredible friend to all. Murph is who I aspire to be always. And this character is not always portrayed with the respect his type is, so I’m really grateful for that. I’m so happy for Murph and Jason to have their storybook love and to have been brought along.
This Book will now take the mantle at the very top of my comfort reads.
This was the perfect, round, glossy, cherry on top to complete this series. I may be biased, but Murph is so me and Jason is 100% my partner, so I related very deeply to it.
This is a story of true love—My favourite of the series
