Story
Oz Gallagher does not do relationships well. Bored and jobless after another disastrous hook up, he decides to leave London for a temporary job in the wilds of Cornwall. Surely managing a stately home on a country estate will be easier than navigating the detritus of his relationships at home. Six months there will alleviate a bit of his wanderlust and then he can come back to London as footloose and fancy free as the day he left it. However, when he gets there, he finds a house in danger of crumbling to the ground and a man who is completely unlike anyone he’s ever met.

Story
Ever hear the story about the bodyguard who falls for the rock star? Yeah, it never ends well. Each day I remind myself that it's my job to protect Stone. And nowhere in the job description does it say I should lust after the charismatic, charming man. Especially since we're opposites. But every night I spend with him the dangerous, off-limits attraction grows more intense. Until one night in a limo when we combust. One time only will have to be enough. One scorching, forbidden night. Because the mistakes from the past are chasing me. And if I give in again, I'll lose everything.

I didn’t mean to stow away on the yacht, I swear. My first mistake was going home with the jerk at the bar, but in my defense, Prescott said he owned the Worthington - 90 feet of sleek, yachty perfection - and if I could get the chief mate’s job, I’d have an excuse to stay on board and keep avoiding my family and my future. How was I supposed to know he was the owner’s cheating, gold-digging almost brother-in-law, or that I’d end up stuffed in a closet when the ship left the harbor?

Smart men never dabble with demons. I never claimed to be smart, but at least, I’m powerful enough to control them. When I bound Havoc to me nearly 300 years ago, I never realized how difficult he’d make my life, although “accidentally” lighting him on fire every now and then does bring a smile to my face. Havoc is handsome, mysterious, and somehow, my closest companion, even if we don’t always get along.

Conor: It starts with a drunken text pic. The kind I would normally never send. Only, instead of it going to the flirty hotel bartender, it goes to some random stranger who actually responds. Wells: The first thing I notice about Conor Newell when he sits down in my high-rise conference room is how delightfully nervous he is. Then I see his tie. Being a hit man has its perks, but I never thought getting an accidental mooning by an attractive PI while he’s caught on a fence would be one of them. While it’s not exactly love at first sight, he’s captured my interest and won’t let go. Suddenly, I find myself caught in a game of cat and mouse, determined to attract the attention of Jackson, the PI who should be my enemy. He pretends like he’s not flattered by my flowers and the mentions of my totally-not-fictitious blow-up doll, Randy (or was it Dandy?), but I know better.

Every bartender should follow one simple rule - don't go home with the customers. That’s been easy for me to stick to, until the night a cocky, confident, and sinfully charming hockey star walks into my bar. This sexy athlete is too hard to resist, especially when he makes it clear how much he wants the “sarcastic, witty, hot AF” guy behind the bar - also known as me. Still, I’m not keen on breaking my own rules since I know where that can lead - no place good.

Publisher's Summary
Wanted: One night together, no strings attached. Hold me, make love to me, treat me like I’m the most important person in the world. No talking. No names. And don’t be surprised if I’m gone in the morning.
After crushing on my best friend for years, I realize he’ll never want someone inexperienced like me. So I decide to get it over with, play the V-card once and for all with an anonymous hook-up. The terms are simple: No talking, no names.
It isn’t as easy as it seems. Now I can’t get the handsome stranger who greeted me with soft kisses and gentle touches out of my mind. Those hands, those lips...but it was just a one-time thing, and I need to forget about him once and for all.
At least I know I won’t ever see him again - until I board a flight and catch sight of a familiar profile in the cockpit just as the door closes.

Not My Favourite
I can see that I'm in the minority here, but I didn't like this book. I found the plot idea very interesting, which is why I'd bought the book to begin with, but to me, the writing just didn't deliver. Not only were their long stretches of non-essential information and side-tangents that made me want to skip ahead, but the choices that the characters made throughout really bothered me. Not only that, but there were so many inconsistencies and misused words. The inconsistencies made me irritated with both the characters and the writer; why would they come to the epiphany that they're in love multiple times? Also, why think "I'm in love with him" or "the words were on the tip of my tongue" one minute, and the next they're thinking that they're "starting to have feelings" or "starting to fall in love" with the person. If you're in love, you're in love and if you're starting to have feelings, you're starting to have feelings. You don't revert back to not having or starting to have feelings when you've already realized that you're fully in love with someone. I have a few other issues, as well, but I'm just not going to delve into it. This book--and I believe that this author's works as a whole--are just not for me.

Beautiful love story
4.5 Blue Roses 4 Blue Flames Narrator Michael Deans’ performance was beautiful, funny and a curl your toes tightly, hot. His sexy portrayal of the different character voices, made the listening experience one hell of an enjoyable listen. I listened to him at 1. 25 speed. Overall, I found the audiobook divine. The pretty on the cover is just as angelic. He has the most eye catching eyes, I could not stop staring at them while listening to the audiobook. The plot was original and the approach to the romance and story line between the main characters, was unpredictable and pure fun. Teo, is stuck with his virginity and he needs to get rid of it, so he is ready for his love of his life, his best friend. His is oblivious about his own beauty, and I guess his self esteem is non-existent due to being used and dragged along for multiple years by Chris, the piece of shit best friend who keeps promising him a relationship, but rather uses that as a carrot, to get Teo to slave after him. Teo, decides to post a very specific request on a hook-up app. Jack, a pilot who’s not into relationships is drawn and intrigued by Teo’s message. They have their night which neither of them, could forget, but no names or details had been exchanged. OMG, this was romantic, fate had something else in store for them. Their paths crossed again. Teo and Jack both made the other grow in every way possible. They have wild chemistry, off the charts. I soaked it all up! I definitely recommend this audiobook, I nominate it for a Blue Encore. I will definitely want to re-listen to this again. Happy Listening

Great Story!
Teo the nurse virgin had been in love with his best friend Chris for 20 years. He was saving himself for Chris who is in the closet and who is so clearly stringing him along. While I did find myself yelling at Teo to quit being Chris' bitch and for Chris to stop so clearly using Teo, it didn't change my high ranking of the book overall cause it was right at the start that Teo meets his sexy pilot and although he still had feelings for Chris, he has an immediate connection with the new guy that he cant deny. The 2 MCs were perfect for each other. What was suppose to be a one night stand with a stranger to get rid of his virginity turns into fireworks with Jack and when they end up running into each other again and they vent to each other while waiting for a layover flight and they agree to be fake bfs to help each other out. The book kept my interest and I had a hard time putting it down when I had to. Great plot with all the feels, some sexy without being too much and lots of swoon moments. Loved it. I love MDs voice and I love the emotion he puts into his readings that make the book come alive. The different characters voices weren't hugely distinct but u could tell the difference between Teos lighter tone and Jack's more gruff tone. It was a little less obvious when comparing Jack's voice to Chris and other extra characters voices. Even still I would choose to listen to MD over any other narrator. His voice is just so sexy.

shhh!!! No talking... just f*king ... OMG! hot!
OMG... what a start: Wanted: One night together, no strings attached. Hold me, make love to me, treat me like I’m the most important person in the world. No talking. No names. And don’t be surprised if I’m gone in the morning. Can you imagine... breathtaking ... intimacy without a word. Not even to exchange names. WOW! This is a story about two people who shared a special night together and then went on to live their own lives. No numbers exchanged. No way to get in touch with each other again. Ok, you know and I know that these two will end up together again ... BUT ... for how long? One of them is in love with another man since childhood... that's 20 years. The other doesn't want a relationship because its difficult since he's a pilot. Now what? This book is beautifully written and Michael Dean brings this book to life. He did such an amazing job. Each voice was easily distinguishable and the emotions were so well depicted. Awesome job! I love the intimate scenes between characters... and the hot scenes were very yummy! :P I highly recommend this book. Definitely a keeper in my library. Enjoy!

The Seasoned Pilot and the Virgin Flyer
I have yet to meet a Lucy Lennox book I didn’t love. With Virgin Flyer, I loved it so much that it might become one of my favorites. It’s her first stand alone book and although I love her series, I appreciated she had a story she wanted to tell and that she took the risk to dot it. It’s always a gamble to step away from what you’re known for. That being said, this is a classic Lucy Lennox romance with all the feel good ‘aw’ moments that I’ve come to look forward to. I’ll add in that Michael Dean narrated this book and, again, he’s just perfect. His voices for Teo and Jack were perfect and his choices for the elder Hattie and Mr. Banks were also spot on. I loved the premise of this book. A guy who’s been in love with his best friend for years believes he’ll never get anywhere if he doesn’t play his V-card. Teo’s friend Chris has dated many women in their young lives, but he’d pledged himself to Teo when they were young and he’s clinging to that promise. Chris wouldn’t have said it if he didn’t mean it, right? And he’s staying in the closet because of his homophobic family but eventually he’ll be in the position to take his relationship with Teo public. Except, is there really a relationship? That’s the question that carries through the book. Teo creates a profile on a hook up app and asks for one night. One night – no names, no words – just a night of gentle affection and no recriminations. His ad broke my heart because the guts it took to put himself out there like that… To have waited twenty-six years and then being willing to risk it all for a one-night stand took guts. He lucked out with Jack, though. Jack the seasoned pilot who lives for hook-ups because he’s not ready to settle down. A friendly guy who enjoys a healthy sexual appetite, but also is moved by the plea of this young man. When he wakes up alone after their night together, he is a little disappointed. But it was meant to be a one-off, so he moves on with his life. Until fate intervenes. Turns out that Jack is the pilot of Teo’s virgin flight. I won’t go into the details, but the two men wind up in close quarters for a while. Given their past, is it any surprise they get together again. Only this time words are exchanged and they both realize they can help the other man out. Each could really use a fake boyfriend. And a plan is hatched. I love the fake boyfriend trope, especially when it is done well. I also think it’s great when the stakes are higher – as in both men need a boyfriend and so there’s a mutuality to the situation. And there’s a lot of give and take in the relationship. I might have also cried a bit with one of the secondary characters and equally been in awe of another. Quick plug – if you subscribe to Lucy’s newsletter you get all these little short scenes. I was hoping one of the characters would get his own book. He didn’t, but the short I got to read was satisfying enough. Also, Teo’s friend Chris was just a jerk but I want to believe some day he’ll get his comeuppance. And find the man he’s destined to be with. Okay, so I hope I’ve convinced you to give this book a try. I adored it and can’t wait for the next Lucy project. And of course Michael Dean will be narrating so, like, yay!

Sweet and refreshing!
Teo is a nurse, and in love with his very straight best friend. All he wants is to forget about his unrequitted crush, have a one night stand with a stranger, lose his virginity and never see his anonymous hookup again. But it isn't so easy to wine and dash especially when he boards his flight and catches a glimpse of the sexy pilot in the cockpit, who happens to be the very man he hoped he would never run into again. This was such a sweet romance. Teo and Jack were totally adorable. I loved the banter and the chemistry between them. Overall, this was a fun, engaging and low on the angst. Michael Dean did an amazing audio delivery. His seamlessly and smooth narration literally brings this book to life. A definite recommend if you like a sweet and fun, light hearted listen.

I love Lucy Lennox, and this book started well, but kind of just started to slide. The ending was nice, but there could be so much more in the middle.

Super Cute
This was a sweet romance, and I really enjoyed the MC. I thought the plot was different enough to make it fun to listen to, and the narrator was, as usual, fantastic.

Sweet and wonderful.
I love this book. This was such a nice sweet story. I loved all the characters, even Chris. I like how the Teo and Jack met, then how they ran into each other again on the plane. I think the progression of the relationship was well written and the narration was great.

Flying Happy!
This is now one of my “escape reality” books. I loved it. Michael Dean, yet again, amazes me with the number of voice variations that is the difference between a good audiobook and a knock my socks off, amazing audiobook.
