Publisher's Summary

Wanted: One night together, no strings attached. Hold me, make love to me, treat me like I’m the most important person in the world. No talking. No names. And don’t be surprised if I’m gone in the morning.

After crushing on my best friend for years, I realize he’ll never want someone inexperienced like me. So I decide to get it over with, play the V-card once and for all with an anonymous hook-up. The terms are simple: No talking, no names.

It isn’t as easy as it seems. Now I can’t get the handsome stranger who greeted me with soft kisses and gentle touches out of my mind. Those hands, those lips...but it was just a one-time thing, and I need to forget about him once and for all.

At least I know I won’t ever see him again - until I board a flight and catch sight of a familiar profile in the cockpit just as the door closes.

Characters you can fall in love with ❤️

I love how complex the story and character development was without being overly descriptive. It was the perfect amount of steam without being crass. I hope there is a plan to write a follow up with these characters 😊

Great Story!

Teo the nurse virgin had been in love with his best friend Chris for 20 years. He was saving himself for Chris who is in the closet and who is so clearly stringing him along. While I did find myself yelling at Teo to quit being Chris' bitch and for Chris to stop so clearly using Teo, it didn't change my high ranking of the book overall cause it was right at the start that Teo meets his sexy pilot and although he still had feelings for Chris, he has an immediate connection with the new guy that he cant deny.

The 2 MCs were perfect for each other. What was suppose to be a one night stand with a stranger to get rid of his virginity turns into fireworks with Jack and when they end up running into each other again and they vent to each other while waiting for a layover flight and they agree to be fake bfs to help each other out. The book kept my interest and I had a hard time putting it down when I had to. Great plot with all the feels, some sexy without being too much and lots of swoon moments. Loved it.

I love MDs voice and I love the emotion he puts into his readings that make the book come alive. The different characters voices weren't hugely distinct but u could tell the difference between Teos lighter tone and Jack's more gruff tone. It was a little less obvious when comparing Jack's voice to Chris and other extra characters voices. Even still I would choose to listen to MD over any other narrator. His voice is just so sexy.

Swoon!

This was such a beautiful, wonderful, feel good love story. I didn't want it to end. It made me laugh and swoon. T is so awkwardly cute and goofy, innocent and naive and Jack the perfect manly man to love T in the way he needs. You need to listen to the audio of this to get the feels fir this one. This will be a relisten for me for sure.

Beautiful love story

4.5 Blue Roses
4 Blue Flames

Narrator Michael Deans’ performance was beautiful, funny and a curl your toes tightly, hot. His sexy portrayal of the different character voices, made the listening experience one hell of an enjoyable listen. I listened to him at 1. 25 speed. Overall, I found the audiobook divine. The pretty on the cover is just as angelic. He has the most eye catching eyes, I could not stop staring at them while listening to the audiobook.

The plot was original and the approach to the romance and story line between the main characters, was unpredictable and pure fun.

Teo, is stuck with his virginity and he needs to get rid of it, so he is ready for his love of his life, his best friend. His is oblivious about his own beauty, and I guess his self esteem is non-existent due to being used and dragged along for multiple years by Chris, the piece of shit best friend who keeps promising him a relationship, but rather uses that as a carrot, to get Teo to slave after him.

Teo, decides to post a very specific request on a hook-up app. Jack, a pilot who’s not into relationships is drawn and intrigued by Teo’s message. They have their night which neither of them, could forget, but no names or details had been exchanged.

OMG, this was romantic, fate had something else in store for them. Their paths crossed again. Teo and Jack both made the other grow in every way possible. They have wild chemistry, off the charts. I soaked it all up!

I definitely recommend this audiobook, I nominate it for a Blue Encore. I will definitely want to re-listen to this again.

Happy Listening

Jack & Teo

Can we please have a real life Jack? I mean, he was the most gentle and attentive men all throughout the book. He treated Teo like he was special and meant to be cherished. He truly listened and cared about the stories Teo told him about his patients, his likes and his dreams. I loved the little considerate things he did, like go to Teo’s place because he knew his cats were important to him or bring him Milk Duds because they were his favourites.

Teo was adorable and kind. He was so self sacrificing and had the desire to help and care for everyone. It was beautiful to see him realize his self worth and what he wasn’t willing to accept anymore.

I loved the funny banter between Teo and Jack but also the passionate moments where they showed how much they cared for each other.

Not My Favourite

I can see that I'm in the minority here, but I didn't like this book. I found the plot idea very interesting, which is why I'd bought the book to begin with, but to me, the writing just didn't deliver. Not only were their long stretches of non-essential information and side-tangents that made me want to skip ahead, but the choices that the characters made throughout really bothered me. Not only that, but there were so many inconsistencies and misused words. The inconsistencies made me irritated with both the characters and the writer; why would they come to the epiphany that they're in love multiple times? Also, why think "I'm in love with him" or "the words were on the tip of my tongue" one minute, and the next they're thinking that they're "starting to have feelings" or "starting to fall in love" with the person. If you're in love, you're in love and if you're starting to have feelings, you're starting to have feelings. You don't revert back to not having or starting to have feelings when you've already realized that you're fully in love with someone.

I have a few other issues, as well, but I'm just not going to delve into it. This book--and I believe that this author's works as a whole--are just not for me.
