Better and better.
These are not the kind of stories I tend to go for. That being said.. wow! Blackmore + Bray = ear bliss. I cannot say enough good things for this book and this series. Wonderful!!! Gus is the man.

I've been on many long road trips and this series makes it feel a whole helluva lot shorter.

Huge fan of this series
This book felt like more than one book and that was enjoyable. The series takes a turn in this book that makes things more interesting but also introduces more characters that become really important. Read the whole series - no regrets!!!

A great finale
The entire Mountain Man series is excellent! I wouldn't call these zombie books, more like the amazing adventures or quests of a few individuals.
This series drew me because of the narrator (one of my favorites) Never interested in the zombie genre.
They held me because of the stories.
I have since delved into other zombie books and I return them shortly after I TRY to listen to them (same old same old)
The Mountain man series are truly stand-alone books.
These are action packed, humorous, lots of twists and turns. I couldn't wait to get off work so I could listen.
Thanks to Mr. Blackmore and RC Bray for the hours of great entertainment.

Read it! It’s a wild ride!
Wow what a roller coaster of emotions that book brought about!
Great story telling and narrator voice.
Very good character depth: you really hate or like them! I got anxious quite a few times!
I truly recommend this story (and especially this book) to anyone that likes to read post apocalyptic books.
Pretty great surprise twist about the zombie/gimp virus!

Couldn't stop listening
Wife was mad at me, because I wouldn't stop listening. I m a zombie genre fan this series is the best yet. The whole series takes place in eastern Canada. Incredible story, Incredible narration. You will not regret this series at all even if you don't like zombies. Captain Morgan the best character.

Really brought it around
I kind of lost interest in the story after the zombie rats of book three but was stumped on a new book so I gave it another try. I'm glad I did because the story line got way better in book 5 and the narrator fits the role perfectly.
