If you like The Walking Dead - storyline and characters - you will like this audiobook! It’s not about the zombies. It’s about the people and their will to survive.

I read a review that mentioned about how silly a love story is in a zombie apocalypse, completely disagree. Life has to go on.

Probably the best series I’ve listened too!

I really like the writing style and the performance was amazing. It did have a bit too much romance for me at one point where I was like where are the zombies but overall a good story and I will purchase the next one when it comes out.
This writer gets much more into personal feelings and relationships than most in the genre which some will love.

"Wow" Sarah Lyons Fleming kept me glued to my earphones. The characters came to life so much so that it made it easy to imagine what they all might look like . I'm enjoying this series and I'm hoping there will be a book 3. Worth the credit 👌

I enjoyed the first book but found the second one somewhat tedious. It felt like most of book two was spent listing to Tom yearning for Rose, Rose yearning for Tom, and Clara yearning for Jessie. I skipped quite a few chapters when the perspective was Clara's for this very reason.

The narrators themselves were very good.

1st book was better

Cheap melodrama wrapped in a rainbow blanket with a sprinkle of zombies. First book was decent, full of action, proper zombie fashion tense with some cool character development and very good build-up. But then book two opens with a massive anticlimactic cold shower. 11 chapers in and all I got is cheap family drama with a hint of zombies. Story so far, zero. Some may like this literary style, but there are so many unnecessary and mundane details thrown at such a fast pace, nothing is left to imagination. I feel like I'm solving transcendental equations while listening, takes all of my brain power to catch the metric ton of little details barraged at me by voice actors. A waste of credit! (two good things, actor behind Craig is awesome and author has great sense of humor)

Enjoying the series but this book was dull at times, and I found myself skipping forward. Much of this instalment is dedicated to advancing romantic relationships with most of the characters pairing off in awkward, predictable ways. Basically too much Rose and not enough Craig. I have a feeling the pace will pick up in Book 3.

I love all of her books and each series get better and better. Her characters feel like real people, can’t wait for the next one

I sit here feeling sad because I know there’s only one book left in this series. It has kept me completely captivated from the very first chapter. I love the story line, the character and their different personalities. World between has left me craving more of Roses world and what the future holds for them all.
