Publisher's Summary

Book One in an epic, forbidden MM romance saga from USA Today best-selling author Ella James....

You think you know me.

That's the way I want it.

Making you feel like we know each other - like we could go grab a beer sometime - is part of my job. Maybe the most vital part. It doesn't hurt that I'm easy on the eyes, single at 35, and born richer than sin. My aesthetic matters much more than it should, but all the better for my worthy cause.

And it's a worthy cause.

I've made an art out of making you feel good, and my influence makes you want to be good. Good like me. You think you know me, but you don't.

Everyone has secrets. Mine could cost me everything.

So I'm a fortress. No one's ever even gotten close.

Until tonight.

See that man, the tall guy dripping on the bow of my yacht? The one I just pulled from the ocean?

He's the one who's going to cost me everything.

Excellent best series of the year!

5Blue Roses
4 Blue Flames

Dual Narrators Iggy Toma and Aiden Snow gave an extraordinarily good performance, delivering the Best Audiobook of the year. Their voices fit the characters perfectly. Listeners will be pleasantly surprised by the amount of emotional investment into the unexpected, but the most appreciated tension and drama. Both narrators possess dangerously sexy deep baritone voices, they know just how to wield them. Knees will buckle, hearts will palpitate and endorphins will over productively pump. Never have I ever felt like jumping and screaming like a “Beatles crazed hooligan”, but the perfect cadence of their voices, the total absence of any irritating weird shit makes me want to scream “come listen here, this is what an audiobook should sound like”.

I review both audiobooks as one because let’s face it, it is one story. The second book follows exactly where the first one ended. I am extremely glad they were released together. Another ugly hooligan scream from myself: “hello everyone, here is how you release audiobooks chopped up into two books” If they were not, the effect would have been so much more watered down. Who goes to the movies and are told halfway through, that’s it everybody, take your shit and go, we will let you know when the rest will be playing. Because you are all idiots and we treat you as such.

I don’t want to spoil anything, for my fellow listeners. My review is general in nature.

The protagonists meet by accident and they are thrown together for an unavoidable hot and wild night. Due to their life’s circumstances, they can’t be together, but just as a compass leaf with a needle on top, floats to point north, so do they magnetically float in each other’s direction. It’s so fucking beautiful I want to cry all over again. Yip, another hooligan cry!

Kudo’s to the author for expanding the depth just a little deeper, for making the plotline that little bit more interesting. It was almost like riding on a Ferris wheel, without being told to get off.

I am now a fan of Ella James.

I do recommend this audiobook.

Happy Listening

Can’t really review this

This is the first of two in a series but it is one story.

I wrote this after both books.
All the feelings! Anxiety, hurt, frustration, fear, hope, sadness and of course the love! And the sex! Hot! I’ve been crying, laughing, wanting to scream in frustration and aching for those two guys. The only thing that should be different is that the two titles in this series is one book! I think it was strange to divide them into two. Aiden Snow and Iggy Toma make fantastic performances to bring Luke and Vance come to life!

CLIFFHANGER warning ⚠️

Ok so, I'll start by saying that what there is of the story is well done. The characters are intriguing and their story sucked me right in. However, this is not a duet where you get two complete stories with linked storylines. Instead, this first one just end abruptly. For that reason it felt more like a serial than a duet. In cases like these I'd much rather the author give me ONE longer, COMPLETE story in one book rather than leave me hanging so abruptly. It's a sure fire way to keep me from buying the next book solely on principal. So that being said, if you want the whole story it'll cost you 2 CREDITS.

Loved this book when I read. So happy when it finally released on Audible.

Listening to this story kinds of gives me a different perspective than when I read it. When I read it I kind of felt that Luke was a somewhat jerk but listening to the story I get more of the frustration of not being able to do what he really wants. Love Vance or Charlie version of him. Perfect for the accent for him. Looking forward to the next book.

Vance & Luke - Part 1

I grabbed this because of the narrators. The narration is really fantastic (5 stars for Aiden Snow and Iggy Toma) and that’s what kept me going through the audio and into the next. I really loved the characters too. It’s smoking hot, and while it ends on a cliffhanger, I liked the direction the story was going. What I really struggled with is that the story was a bit disjointed for me. I felt like I had missed something, so I consistently found myself back tracking to the beginning of the chapter (or further back) to fill in the blanks. However the blanks were not filled in, but were later. I felt a step behind in what was happening and found myself wondering how Vance and Luke had gotten to the place in the story they were. This being said, I had to know how things planned out for Vance and Luke so I headed right into the second and final audio...

📖Absolutely conflicted with skyrocket passion!

Oh My Goodness! Luke and Vance's story is hot as hell to be one that is forbidden love. We are talking about a drop the FBomb with just about ever word sexy city boy. And a holy priest that has God given good looks with mega followers that believes in every word that comes out of his religious mouth. However, fate has caught the both of them by surprise. I only can say their story is one of conflicted passion. I so recommend. I have read both novels a few years ago. I was blown away. Now, to have ''Worship''and ''Adore'', on audio books, that made my day. The narrators did an outstanding job! Enjoy! 📖

Iffy

There are parts of this story that are really good, but others that are dull and drawn out. I am not sure where all these high reviews are from; perhaps loyal fans of thr author. This story has no real plot, just random events.

Emotionally exhausting, but so worth it!

*** This review is for the duet; Worship and Adore ***

This story was brilliant and beautiful, and sad, and funny, and heartbreaking, and amazing all at once!

Vance may just be my favorite fictional person ever. What an absolute gift to the world this man is! Iggy Toma narrated this character so well and with so much real emotion it was a challenge for me to listen while driving. I honestly had to pull over twice so that I could cry without crashing my car. Aiden Snow's portrayal of Pastor Luke was perfection. He was such a mass of f@cked-up contradictions and emotional baggage, and Aiden Snow portrayed every single nuance like the master he is.

I loved and hated everything about the evolution of their relationship - That's how excellent Ella James' story-weaving was in these books. I was so emotionally invested that I felt like I was experiencing all of the ups and downs, and starts and stops of their relationship.

I also really enjoyed the addition of the third narrator in Adore. It's such an uncommon thing, and I feel like it really worked in this story.

I don't feel like I can write anything else without giving away spoilers so I'll just say this: This duet is worth the credits. It's a beautiful representation of the power of love and I recommend it highly.

Just wow!

This book impressed the hell out of me. The writing and the narration were flawless. I physically felt these men in my chest. Of course it was hot, but, damn, it was deep as well. It's one of those rare books that I just sit with for a while after it ends; in respectful silence.
