Publisher's Summary

My heart's about to get wrangled in Chad's wicked little game.

I left behind my countryside hometown of Spruce, Texas and my teenage tormentor Chad Landry to start over, pursue a career, and make a new name for myself.

Fast forward 10 years, and I'm back in Spruce for my high school reunion to confront my past and to face the boy who made my teen years hell. I'm no longer the vulnerable teenager I once was, and I'll guarantee you this: Chad won't have any power over me.

But all the mental preparation in the world couldn't possibly prepare me for the sight of the hot, gorgeous, and hunky rancher that Chad has become, nor the secret he's been waiting 10 long years to tell me.

Chad's got things to say. And I've got a score to settle.

Someone's poor little heart is about to get wrangled in a game it is sure to lose.

Contains mature themes.

Heart-warming story

The story was filled with realistic characters and plausible plot. Cross-over Characters from other books by Darryl Banner give it a warm, small-town feel with people you would like to know.

Excellent Series!

Daryl Banner will bring you into the unique world of Spruce where there's hope for a better future. Each story builds somewhat on the last and I look forward to reading more of his work. The narrator also brings the characters to life in a way that is relatable and emotionally real. If you haven't read a gay romance series yet, start with this one! Two thumbs up!

Absolute Wonder

I laughed, I cried, I hoped, I was in suspense. I didn’t want this story to end. I got so invested in the story I listened to it in 2 days. Every spare minute I got had it playing. Already downloaded my next book by this author!

uggggggghhhhhh 😡😔

I really had high expectations for this book, and the narrator did an excellent job, but I DNF at maybe 85%? I am so close to finishing but I just can't handle anymore of the MC; he is almost perfect and has "teaching" moments with everyone. The two MCs also have communication issues and seem almost unequal. Sadly, the way the story unfurled was just supremely unsatisfying for me and what I enjoy in a romance.

Do yourself a favor and read the whole series

This writer is so good. I kept smiling throughout the book. The characters are great! Their characters are layered, but not perfect. The characters have their many sides, short comings, and lovability. This is the fourth book in this series. The series as a whole is really great. The first book and this one are my favorites, but again I love this series. I hope this author continues in this series, and other books!!!

Totally 'Binge Worthy'

It's been a long time since I've had an audio book that I just couldn't 'put down.' I listen to stories at work, but this one went home with me last night and I listened until bedtime, then picked it back up this morning and finished this afternoon. This whole series is amazing and I can't wait to get to the next book.
Very impressed and highly recommended.

Love, love, love this book. My only regret is is that I wish I would have listened to it sooner than later

Best of the Series

Wrangled is hands down the best book of the series (so far). Daryl Banner really captured true-to-life memories that some of us experienced in high school. What I really appreciated in this book is how Banner delves into Lance’s struggle between his career and Chad. It doesn’t get more real than that. I also like how he continues to mention characters from the previous books in the series, as it really makes you feel that you have been to the town of Spruce, Texas.

And once again, Chris Chambers knocks it out of the park with his voice performance.
