  • When Leaders Don't Recognize Team Issues - Alex Cartmill | 10x Your Team Ep. #441
    Sep 20 2025

Ever wondered why it's so hard to get business leaders interested in team wellness? In this conversation with Alex Cartmill, operator of Vibrant Yoga, Cam and Otis explore the fascinating intersection of wellness and business leadership.

"If the leader doesn't have a personal issue, they're likely not going to recognize an issue in the team," Alex explains, revealing one of the biggest challenges in bringing yoga and wellness practices into corporate environments. From discussing how to "open the door" with skeptical executives to exploring what happens when team members discover their purpose (and sometimes leave), this episode offers rare insights into the human side of business wellness.

The conversation takes an unexpected turn when Otis suggests "Hard Rock Yoga" as a potential way to break through to resistant clients—and Alex doesn't immediately dismiss the idea. There's a genuine exploration of how wellness practices need to meet people where they are, not where wellness professionals wish they would be.

Whether you're a business leader curious about team wellness or a wellness professional trying to break into the corporate world, this episode offers practical wisdom about building bridges between these often-disconnected domains.

    More About Alex:
Alex has been an entrepreneur his entire life and now runs a business as an operator for other growing organizations -- through both hands-on & advisory work. Alex is currently helping manage Vibrant Yoga, a corporate & private wellness company based out of Chicago. After a short stint as a Personal Trainer, Alex began managing a business development program and mentorship for health professionals, building a team of more than 10 and taking in over 6,000 students during his 4-year stint there. Since then, Alex has been managing businesses and projects for a variety of remote organizations, from General Manager of Personal Trainer certification body Fitness Mentors, to Director of Operations of marketing consultancy Forget The Funnel, to continuously growing and adapting his own business as an operator. Alex resides in Portland, OR, with his furry companion, Charlie.

  • The Human Side of Business Systems - Drew Lints | 10x Your Team Ep. #440
    Sep 12 2025

Ever worked with a leader who treated everything as "urgent" until nothing felt important anymore? In this conversation with Drew Lints, founder of Revflow Growth Partners, Cam and Otis explore the human side of business systems and how the right tools can actually help leaders care for their people better.

"At the end of the day, we want to accomplish the thing that I was so bad at early on—keeping track of everyone, making sure that they're cared for," Drew explains, revealing how his own leadership journey shaped his approach to CRM and business systems.

From discussing the fine line between genuine urgency and manufactured pressure to exploring alternatives to expensive enterprise solutions like Salesforce and HubSpot, this episode offers practical insights for leaders looking to grow without losing the human connection. Drew shares how simple tools—even just an Excel spreadsheet with names and personal details—can transform how leaders engage with their teams and clients.

Whether you're scaling a business, leading a team, or just trying to bring more intentionality to your work, Drew's approach to "efficiency creates clarity, and clarity unlocks growth" offers a refreshing perspective on how technology can enhance rather than replace human connection.

    More About Drew:
I help organizations unlock growth by building smarter systems, clearer strategies, and more efficient workflows. As Founder & CEO of Revflow Growth Partners, I bring over 25 years of experience in coaching, consulting, and revenue leadership.

My journey began in 1999, leading people, building teams, and driving mission-focused growth. Those years shaped my passion for aligning vision with strategy and creating systems that help people flourish.

In 2023, I launched Revflow to scale that mission. Today, we design CRMs, automations, and growth systems that eliminate waste, create clarity, and drive lasting results. I also provide fractional CRO services, helping companies accelerate revenue and scale without the cost of a full-time executive.

At my core, I believe efficiency creates clarity, and clarity unlocks growth.

  • Breaking Through Revenue Ceilings - James R. Brown | 10x Your Team Ep. #439
    Sep 12 2025

Ever notice how some business owners keep hitting the same revenue ceiling year after year? In this episode with James R. Brown, founder of Business Accelerator Institute, we explore what's really happening when a business gets stuck at $950,000 and can't break through to seven figures.

"It's usually the owner's mindset," James reveals, sharing stories of breakthrough moments when clients finally see what's been holding them back. From walking away from his own successful $8 million law practice to helping over 350 business owners achieve significant growth, James brings both legal analytical thinking and practical business wisdom to the conversation.

There's something uniquely satisfying about that moment when you can "auditorily hear it over the phone. That aha moment... You can hear the switch flip," as Otis puts it. James shares how these transformations happen and why relating stories to clients helps them "see themselves in that" and find the power to move forward.

Whether you're hitting a ceiling in your business or helping others break through theirs, this episode offers insights into how analytical thinking, contingency planning, and the right mindset can create quantum leaps in business performance.

    More About James:
