The EPLpod boyz decide to take an indefinite break from their pod-boy-lives to try other things in life before the clock runs out and they return back to eternal darkness. Will there be other episodes in the future? No one really knows... 

Liverpool FC played as many game as they possibly could have this season, but lost the league by one point and the Champions League final by one goal against Real Madrid. As such, they only have the FA Cup and the league cup (doesn't it even count?) to show for their efforts. With this said, the question must be asked: Did Liverpool FC have a successful season? 

Aston Villa manager and former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard came desperately close to denying Manchester City the title, only for Pep Guardiola's side to mount a dramatic comeback, scoring three goals in less than six minutes with there being less than 15 minutes to play. Ouch baby! 

Paris St-Germain's Idrissa Gueye refused to play in a match to avoid wearing a rainbow symbol in support of LGBTQ+ rights. Kouyate posted a picture of himself alongside Gueye on Instagram, with a caption calling Gueye "a real man". Sadly, this couldn't be further from the case. 

Steven Gerrard has made it clear that Aston Villa will ‘give everything’ against Manchester City after he was asked if he could possibly give Liverpool a favour in the Premier League title race. Will Gerrard be able to do it or will he have a mangerial slip?

Jurgen Klopp has taken a dig at Tottenham's tactics after seeing his side's Premier League title hopes suffer a massive blow this game week in the Premier League. Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw against Spurs at Anfield while Manchester City shelled Newcastle United 5-0, leaving City three points clear at the top. 

Manchester City collapsed at the Bernabeu as Real Madrid pulled off an astonishing late comeback to reach the Champions League final. This is the sixth time that Guardiola has been knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals which begs the question, "can Pep win the Champions League without Leo Messi?"
