The adventure begins when Cassie and Amanda unearth a recording of mysterious happenings in a rural English village. After checking out the local hospitality (some good, some decidedly bad) Cassie finds herself in the kind of paranormal encounter she’s always dreamed of, alongside a mysterious government agent, Glen. However, Cassie’s excitement soon turns into a fight for her life.©2020 CPL Productions (P)2020 Audible Originals, LLC.

One role is badly over acted but as the whole thing is a joyful send-up it doesn't really hurt. The lead female roles are performed perfectly. They trapped me in episode 1 and kept me coming back to the end of the season. Also note the role of Glen is done very well.

The story is a bit offbeat, but it remarkably is ultimately explained in a way that takes the cartoon out and sits it firmly in fantastic fiction.

A great payoff for my Audible membership.

Camp, fun, review for complete season listen
