Bob and John continue our discussion on ways to hear the voice of God.

The life we live is a busy, noisy life, social media, television, rumors and gossip, street noise, business of work and families and many times, lies. We often miss the opportunities to hear God's voice in the midst of our daily life.

Quiet time spent in devotion, walking in God's creation (nature, outdoors), reading God's word, or spending time with fellow believers offers us an excellent opportunity to hear the Voice of our Heavenly Father, His son Jesus, and connecting with the Holy Spirit. The Bible (God's word) contains many references to hearing God's voice spoken into our lives. Let's not ignore or put aside these chances to hear what God has to say as we seek Him. Walking and talking with Him daily will have a dramatic change in your relationship with Jesus.

Juan Ortiz joins us to  describe how his very difficult childhood with his abusive father was a precursor to leading his jailed father to Christ.  Juan also explains how he and his wife helped to co-found a church, and how his life story led him to become a speaker, mentor, life coach, and counselor for the past 25 plus years. 

In this episode, we discuss the gospel truth and realization that, as believers, we are no longer alone in self, but are instead, receivers through Jesus’s death on the cross, and are now “In Christ. Being “In Christ” we also have a helper in the Holy Spirit indwelling in us - a blessing that we often overlook.  We are never alone.  We are not left to fight Satan on our own strength.  We already have victory over Satan, sin, and evil through our position “In Christ,”  a reality that we continue to receive over time through the process of sanctification.
