  • EVEN MORE about this episode!

Struggling with a mysterious learning difficulty can be both isolating and bewildering, as I can attest. Imagine my relief when I discovered that my difficulties weren't due to a lack of intelligence, but rather a correctable visual perception issue known as Irlen Syndrome. In a captivating discussion with Dr. Sandra Tosta, we delve into the transformative world of this syndrome, where spectral filters offer a rainbow of solutions to those suffering from heightened light sensitivity and visual distortions.

Venture with us as we discuss the fascinating correlation between Irlen Syndrome and the autonomic nervous system, the surprising benefits of color in enhancing brain function, and the striking advantages of specialized Irlen filters. I also touch on the striking differences between ADD and ADHD, the unexpected entrepreneurial edge given by ADD, and the impact of lighting on children in educational settings. This episode is a must-listen for anyone interested in the transformative effects of recognizing and addressing Irlen Syndrome, and the broader implications it has on learning, behavior, and personal well-being.
