  • Episode 74: God Has Created Us to Be Creators
    May 1 2024

What does it mean to be a new creature in Christ?

Has God really created us to be creators?

We all know that there is only one creator, however we are his sons and daughters, and he has given us the ability to carry out his will.
We learn 3 very important things from 2Cor 5:

    1. We no longer see Christ or anyone from a human point of view. We are spiritual beings experiencing an earthly life. When all is said and done, we came from spirit, and we have always been spirit, just for a season we are in these earthly bodies.

    2. When you are born again, there is an awakening to this fact and all the old way thinking in the lower realms become a new way of thinking in a much higher realm, but we have a choice, to remain in the earthly realm or to ascend into the heavenlies. Believe me, I have seen both and I choose to go up higher.

    3. The key to all of this is to be reconciled to God through Christ, because when that happens, we aren’t tied down by sin, because God has cancelled all sin. Now, we go out and restore others.

Creature - to completely change or transform. The act of creating. The creator is God. God creates by the power of His word: "God said...and it was so."
It is all about the condition of our heart. Our attitude and what we speak creates. It can create unity or division

How Do We Learn to Love

Many folks only want to love those who love them. It is easy to love those who love us; however, we are called to love the unlovely unconditionally as God loves us unconditionally. The world does not see love the way God sees it. Why does God expect us to love murderers, thieves, or politicians (just kidding).

Today we are going to discuss the more difficult side of love. The part we must learn. We must learn to love. In order to walk in love, grow in love, manifest love and release love, we must first learn to love. Our egos stand in the way of loving God and others. The ego is selfish and self-serving. We must re-learn or deconstruct what our carnal, fleshly thinking has taught us about love and have our mind re-newed by the mind of Christ. The flesh says, I am going to get what’s mine or it’s all about me. What the ego says is I am the most important and smartest person in the room. Ego love is based on personality and is selfish, lawless, and fickle. The humble Christ mind love says, how can I help to make someone’s day. Lord, who can I serve today, how can I get this person to smile and help them believe that God and I really love them.

Why does God want us to learn how to love?

Learn: to gain knowledge or understanding by study, instruction, or experience. Learning from experience is the big one. If we learn from our experience, we will be more loving. We will make mistakes along the way but always realize that he is constantly working in us what is pleasing in his sight. We are all a work in progress. So don’t be too hard on yourself.

    The Gateway to Heaven

Jacob talked about the House of God and the gateway to heaven.

What is the House of the God and the gateway to heaven and where is it?

The first time the house of God was mentioned in the Bible was when Jacob dreamed about a ladder set on earth reaching to heaven. What Jacob experienced that day is something we will or have already experienced in our own lives.
One thing the House of God isn’t, it isn’t a building. When Jacob said this, he was on the road from Beersheba heading towards Haran. He was in the middle of nowhere.

Jacob received a major revelation that day. Not only did he receive a revelation, but his life was also permanently changed. He saw God in a whole new way, he was born again. He saw the gate of Heaven which was a passageway from one reality to another. There was a shift in his consciousness. He could now distinguish between earth and heaven.

He went from Jacob, the deceiver to eventually become Israel, which means, God prevails.

The born-again experience changes our thinking, our attitude and our nature. The old passes away and we become new. We are being changed from glory to glory.

If you are like Jacob (supplanter, one who is journeying from place to place to find satisfaction) counting the past and looking to the future, change your attitude to that symbolized by Israel, and find peace in the Lord's reality.
