Life in the Funhouse Mirror with Stephanie D. McKenzie

  • Summary

  • In this interview series, experts share their tips to help leaders to influence and gain commitment from their teams.  Stephanie talks about how we distort reality and avoid doing the deep reflection work that we need to grow.

"You don’t need to be beholden to a set of beliefs that you had when you were younger.  Changing your mind does not make you flaky.  It means you are evolving.  If you value being right, you will be threatened by the concept of correction.  If you can never be corrected, you can’t be uncomfortable.  And if you can’t be uncomfortable, you can’t grow."
