  • In the spring of 1985, the dismembered body of an unidentified woman washed ashore in Biscayne Bay, in Miami Florida. Twenty-five years later, the remains were identified as Nilsa Padilla of Puerto Rico. Through a harrowing tale of domestic violence, murder, and sexual abuse, Nilsa’s youngest daughter, Alicia Guzman Padilla, was presumably murdered by her father, Jorge Walter Nunez. After Jorge struck Alicia in the head, and carried away her limp body, Alicia Guzman Padilla was never seen again.
