• Church Service For February 14th, 2021 | Transfiguration Sunday | Pastor David Benic
    Feb 13 2021
Part I: Thematic Opening Prayer, Intercessory Prayer, Scripture Prayer, and the Lord's Prayer. Part II: Online Christian Church Service with the Liturgy Of The Word Bible & Gospel Readings. READING 1: 2 Kings 2:1-12 PSALM: Psalm 50:1-6 READING 2: 2 Corinthians 4:3-6 HALLELUJAH GOSPEL ACCLAMATION: Pastor David Benic GOSPEL: Mark 9:2-9 Part III: Theme Summary Of Today's Sermon: Transfiguration Sunday celebrates the glorious revelation of God in Jesus Christ and Christ’s manifestation as the fulfillment of the law and the prophets. Jesus’ radiant change of appearance while in the presence of Peter, James, and John on the mountaintop evokes the devouring fire of the glory of the LORD. Here, as at Jesus’ baptism, God claims him as a beloved child, in whom God is well pleased. Christ’s Transfiguration aims at strengthening the apostles’ faith in anticipation of his Passion, and the ascent onto the 'high mountain' prepares for the ascent to Calvary. I pray His transfiguration strengthens our faith. Today is the Sunday right before Ash Wednesday. It is a time to celebrate the Transfiguration of the Lord because this event marked a transition in Jesus’ ministry in which he “set his face to go to Jerusalem”, where he would die. Please Support This Ministry: Although not focused on money, it is necessary to operate this church and to pay the bills. • Church Service For February 2nd, 2021 | Fifth Sunday after the Epiphany
    Feb 6 2021
God always wanted us to tell everyone about Jesus. We can lead others to Jesus by living like Jesus. To live like Christ it is necessary to be approachable, accepting, and to love actively. In 2021, and especially with so much pain and death from COVID and the new variants of Coronavirus adapting to become more transmittable and deadly, many of us are in desperate need of Jesus. Many need to experience the mercy and love of God through Jesus for themselves so they can see His light through the darkness.

Thematic Opening Prayer, Intercessory Prayer, and a Scripture Prayer. READING 1: Deuteronomy 18:15-20 PSALM: Psalm 111 READING 2: 1 Corinthians 8:1-13 HALLELUJAH GOSPEL ACCLAMATION: GOSPEL: Mark 1:21-28 Theme Summary Of Today's Sermon: Faith, hope, and love are all in this earthly world that lasts forever. These are the gifts we should pursue with our lives. In 1 Corinthians, Paul describes an abundance of spiritual gifts and ways we can demonstrate Godly living in the world. Even in 2021. 1 Corinthians 13:13 says, “Three things will last forever: faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is love.” The purpose of faith is to lead us to know the heart of God. Hope is the expectation, or the certainty, that faith is here. It is the fuel that keeps faith alive in our quest to find love. Love is the result that we see of our faith and our hope. Only the love that God gives you and me can change our world today. And we must never give up or accept failure. Can you imagine what would’ve happened if Jesus would have given up? • Church Service For January 24th, 2021 | Third Sunday after the Epiphany
    Jan 22 2021
I am hopeful that this year will be better than the last. I cannot predict the future though. Perhaps the answer to the question if 2021 is going to be better than 2020 lies within ourselves. Aren’t we responsible for what’s going on around us? I realize there are flaws in all leadership. That’s why we are to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. The difficulty is in the modern world. There’s a clear direction in the Bible about these very topics. The New Testament replaced the old and it is no longer an eye for an eye. We must let God be the judge and the punisher.

  • Church Service For 01-17-2021 with Prayers, Bible & Gospel Readings, Sermon
    Jan 14 2021
Today's sermon touches on who I am and why I planted this church. When I listen to the voice that I wake up to in the middle of the night, I hear my purpose is to be a faceless pastor. It is not about me; it is all about Jesus. I have no desire to be known. I have no desire to wear cool looking clothing and boots with perfect hair or make myself known as a pop star is popular. My only purpose is to bring you the Word of God with his Gospels. It is just that simple. I do not want money or approval. I want you to love Jesus, not me. I am sensitive and emotional. I glorify God then struggle with understanding and realigning my sin. I am not a perfect human, but in God's eyes, his Word tells me I am perfect to Him because He made me this way. Please give this church a chance. It is not about me. It is not mine. It is ours together. I pray you grow with me as a person and as a pastor. Let's take this journey together. In his name, I pray. Amen Pastor David
