  • Summary

  • Suffering is inevitable to some degree as long as we are living this life. If you live long enough you will be touched by tragedy and trauma. The degree to which those things affect you depend heavily on your environment, supporting community, your own innate gifts, and if you have an intimate relationship with our heavenly Father. Although we have no control over things that happen to us as we learn and grow and lean into Christ we recognize that most of us have choices now. The suffering in this life can sanctify you to Christ or separate you from Him based on choices you make. God is faithful to meet us right where we are. We all have different experiences and we all have a choice in how we handle our suffering.
