  • Seton, Matt, and Michael travel back in time to when North American rivers ran red with blood to bring you a “potluck” of Native American tales of murder, massacre and betrayal that helped shaped our history here in the Southeast. Here is what you’ll hear: 

    • King Hagler of the Catawba Nation is assassinated, and his grave plundered by robbers, but justice is served in the form of torture, target practice and scalping. 
    • Facing an impossible debt of more than 100,000 deer skins, the Yamasee go on a bloody rampage from Savannah to Charleston and almost destroy the entire colony of South Carolina. 
    • After several Native Americans in a drunken stupor are “mangled” in a “barbarous” manner, the Royal Governor of South Carolina receives a surprise gift at his doorstep: a bag of severed heads.
