Sara is very sad at first, but she soon makes friends at school. But on her 11th birthday, something terrible happens, and now Sara has no family, no home, and not a penny in the world.

Klein Käthchen ist ein Roman von Frances Hodgson Burnett aus dem Jahr 1878: Coyne war der älteste von der Gesellschaft, die den Sommer in Newport verlebte. Käthe Davenant war zuletzt von allen gekommen, und da sie eine Dame war, und schön war, so wurde ziemlich freiherzig über sie gesprochen. Vielleicht war die Unterhaltung umso freiherziger geführt worden, weil Miss Davenants Ruf ihr nach Newport vorausgeeilt war.
