This is a short story I wrote for a friend's granddaughter. Her twin sister, Violet, had a copy of the Colour Fairies book Pansy and Violet Meet the Dragons. There was no suitable story for Daisy, so now she has one of her own.

This is the story of Mhoddy Dhoo, which basically means "black dog". He haunts the ruins of Peel Castle in the Isle of Man or Ellen Vannin, as it used to be called. He has many adventures before and after his death, and this story tells but a few.

The first half of the story tells how the crown came into existence and Merlin's quest to find a safe hiding place for the clues leading to the place where he has hidden the crown. The second half moves to the present day and follows the trail of 5 young people who hear rumours and follow them up ultimately searching for the crown. They battle adversity in the shape of the mysterious Angus and when they eventually find the crown they unwittingly break the spell which was cast upon Merlin years before by the evil Mordred and Ninianne, thereby earning his gratitude. 

This is the story of the wedding of the red colour fairy, Ruby, to Francisco, the brown faun. It is a happy little tale about some very pretty fairies, geared toward children approximately seven years old.

In this book the fairies are trying to find a source for black colour. They enlist the help of Father Christmas, who comes to fairyland, and put him in touch with a pixie who can help.

These stories follow the lives and adventures of the seven color fairies who each look after a color of the rainbow. They do lots of other things too and we meet lots of magical characters, both good and bad. Come and join us in good old-fashioned fairyland. I have tried to make the books slightly educational in that they teach children about mixing colors and also ask them to find out things like "when is the Spring Equinox?"

This is another little fairytale in the Colour Fairies Series in which the fairies find out where the white comes from that is added to red to make pink.

This book tells the story of the origins of the festival of Halloween and how the little people celebrate. It is mainly a fun book and not scary nor too spooky for young children. Age group seven years and up.
