In earlier times immigrants were generally "like us". Now, many immigrants are often Muslims, who not only dress distinctively, but practice a different religious creed as well. Many fear that terrorists will enter our country under the guise of immigrants. Christians, however, belong to another kingdom, the kingdom of Jesus the Messiah. A Christian response to the needs of refugees and immigrants should reflect their commitment to Christ more than their fears or political allegiances.

What is the gospel? How well can we articulate the gospel? If our gospel is solely about forgiveness of sin and entry into heaven in the hereafter, we have missed the true substance of the gospel.

There are many struggles in this difficult world that can darken our skies. It may be ongoing health issues, depression/anxiety, relationship struggles, financial calamity and so much more.

All Christians and sinners should understand that the whole plan is complete. They should understand that the whole of Christ—his character, his work, his atoning death, and his ever-living intercession—belongs to each and every person and simply needs to be accepted. There is a full ocean of it.
