Crisis on Just One Earth

This audiobook tells the story of a supervillain called "The Crisis" and his best friend, an assassin named "Poison" as they carve out a living in a dystopian future. Crisis is on the run from the FBI, including a sexy metahuman agent with whom he might be in love. Along the way, they run into a genius Russian cyborg, a pink-haired exotic dancer who wants to become a supervillain, a superhero with an MBA from Wharton who can lift a skyscraper, and many others.

This is a sequel to The Crisis. In this audiobook, the assassin Poison, the former FBI telepath Delphi and the pink haired villainess Stiletto deal with the fallout from their previous adventures. An extremely powerful superhero comes looking for revenge after a humiliating viral video. Also, they have to deal with their decision to wage war against the extremely powerful multinational corporations that rule their world from behind the scenes.

In this book, the Crisis ex-girlfriend gets super powers and swears revenge on him, working for the arch villain Doctor Gloom, whom the Crisis has upset from time to time. At the same time The Crisis, his wife Delphi, cohorts in crime Poison and Stiletto have been forced to flee the country and join Dr. Impossible where he has become the Supreme Dictator for Life in Thailand. Of course this prompts an all out superhero invasion funded by the multinational corporations Crisis and the gang have been waging war against.
