The whole series is good. The last two I just couldn’t get into really I finished them because that’s what I do and I do recommend listening if you want to complete the series.

One and two was great three and four not so much

The duet narration done by Sean Masters and Lessa Lamb was hands down amazing!!!

The book itself was definitely heavier on the spice than plot (and I now consider myself “enlightened” on a few things (IYKYK) LOL), but I knew that going in!

If you enjoy books with a daddy k/nk, a book that’s lighter on the mafia occurrence/events in the book, and are okay with things like “water sports”, check this one out but definitely check the trigger and content warnings before you do!

The storyline is so loose I want to insert a ‘your mama’ joke. The smut was not for me. No, I didn’t read the trigger warnings as I normally use them as a ratings scale. This time though, I said Yuck so many times. And I’ve read The Edge of Darkness series and never once had that sentiment.
