Edward S. Smith, Jr. has over four decades of experience in real estate. He is the author of eleven books, all related to Commercial and Investment Real Estate. His latest book is "All About Leases". He also has written books about investing in real estate, understanding Green, a self study book on real estate formulas; where you learn by doing the calculations, using the HP10BII+ calculator. Two books are composites of published articles or lessons on commercial real estate. If you are thinking about buying real estate, or an agent who wants to improve their skills, these books are for you. Four other books have been published by Dearborn. These textbooks have been used to teach commercial real estate throughout the United States. He also "trained the trainers" by developing instructor training materials for these books. Over the years, he has personally trained over 14,000 agents how to do commercial and investment real estate brokerage. To date he has written over a dozen continuing education courses, including the Commercial Investment Real Estate Certification (CIREC) program, which he regularly teaches.
