Laura Adlington is a plus-size fashion influencer and body positivity advocate who has amassed an incredible and loyal following on social media, and through her podcast Go Love Yourself. Laura is a champion for body positivity and is keen to use her platforms to help people of all shapes and sizes feel good about themselves. Laura’s podcast ‘Go Love Yourself‘, does just this. She hosts the podcast with her close friend Lauren Smith and the two cover important topics including inclusivity, mental health, anti-diet culture, body acceptance and fashion. Finalist of the Great British Bake Off 2020, Laura was the stand out star of the nation’s favourite baking show. Laura’s sense of humour, positive outlook, resilience and messy baking had viewers falling in love with not only her baking but also her wonderful personality. Laura is a Gravesend girl, born and bred, who decided to enter the competition after realising her flair and passion for baking. Since then, Laura has collaborated with brands such as Sainsburys Tu, Very, Estrid, Joules, Next, Hello Fresh, Invisalign and many more. Laura is a brand ambassador for clothing brand Simply Be who she works with regularly. Laura is known for her caring nature and work with the Samaritans, over the years she has given emotional support to people who are going through a difficult time. Laura continues to support the Samaritans as an ambassador for their important work. Laura has made guest appearances on well-known podcasts such as Should I Delete That and appeared at panel events and festivals discussing topics such as anti-diet culture, intuitive eating, movement for EVERYbody and plus size fashion. She has also made TV appearances on ITV’s Lorraine, BBC Breakfast and Ch4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch.
