Mitch Cullin (b. 1968, Santa Fe, New Mexico) is the author of ten books of fiction, including the novel-in-verse BRANCHES and THE POST-WAR DREAM. The films TIDELAND (2005) and MR. HOLMES (2015) were adaptations based on his novels, and his writing has been translated into over 20 languages. His literary archives are stored in the special collections at the University of Minnesota. In 2015, Cullin retired from writing fiction in order to focus his creative energy on photography and producing photobooks. He continues to live in the San Gabriel Valley with his collaborator and spouse Peter I. Chang.
