Richard J. Goodrich (Ph.D., University of St Andrews) is an author and historian. After twenty years as a history professor, Richard resigned his post in 2022 to dedicate himself to his writing. His interests range from Ancient History (the Roman Empire and early Church history) to the modern age. His new book, Comet Madness: How the 1910 Visit of Halley's Comet (Almost) Destroyed Civilization, was published by Prometheus Books/Rowman & Littlefield in February 2023.
