Bonjour mes amis,
Ca va ? Je parle francais un petit peu...so I shall continue in English.

Thank you for visiting my page. HIGH BEAM is the debut novel for the D.I.Mahoney crime series. Book 2, DEAD WOOD, is due for release in October.
If you appreciate the writing of my fiction heroes, Ian Rankin and Peter Temple, then you may really like my work. I hope so.

The series is set in Hobart, Tasmania: a beautiful place redolent with French place names because of the number of French explorers who ventured here. If you can't visit in the short term then buying my novel could be the next best thing.

Apart from writing I love cinema, football, travel writing and reading. I hope to return to France one day soon. As does everyone,I love Paris but I also have an affection for the area around Nice as I used to work down that way years ago.

I look forward to being in touch with French readers.

Au revoir

Etienne
