This book is an absolute must read for 40k fans! It comes as a sequel to The Talon of Horus, also written by ADB. This series has got to be my favourite series in the Black Libraries massive collection. I am avidly awaiting the third installation!

ADB is the man. Great storyline. I can’t believe I actually root for the traitors. I understand where they come from and the complexities that led them to certain outcomes. Jonathan Keeble should be the only narrator for Warhammer. Welcome done Gentleman.

So good I can't wait for the 3rd installment. So amazing I had to read it twice. The narrator spins Aaron's writing so bloody well. Hands down best Warhammer author. I recommend the Talon of Horus first, of course. BLACK LEGION!

Masterful Story Telling! Compelling characters!

Keeble delivers a performance here that really gives life to the lords of the Black Legion in a way that often aren't treated to. Coupled with Demski-Bowden's unique method of characterization, the whole thing feels very polite, almost patrician. Gone are the days of the mindless, drooling idiots at the head of the dread hosts; in Black Legion, we are shown the honourable, tempered, calculating masters of warfare doing what they do best. I can't recommend the book itself enough, and will actively seek out other audiobooks by Keeble in the future. #Audible1

I enjoyed, it was slow start but the story built nicely afterwards. The voice performance was very good, with the narrator embodying several different characters voices and effects.

As incredible as you would expect from author and narrator alike! This book is very descriptive, moving and colourful. The narrator as well does an exceptional job of consistency among a vast myriad of different voices and knows well how to use tone and pronunciation to set a mood and immerse you.

As ever, this story was awesome.
some of the best narration and writing out there in the black library repertoire.
the characters are compelling and interesting, I won't give anything away, but the way it makes you laugh sometimes is bloody brilliant, this is a must listen if you want the "other side" of the coin and to hear the victus of the Black Legion.
