the story is excellent. If you are interested in the sinopsis, I guarantee you will like this book.

Also the dual narration is fantastic.

What I liked most about this book is its coherent magic system - there are many different methods of casting, but they are all connected (as opposed to individual schools). The story itself covers literally the "pre-school" arc, where MC is still very young, but the pacing doesn't feel slow at all since there are a lot of things for MC to do. One criticism is that there are not a lot of adventuring (i.e. dangerous fights), which I hope future books will remedy.
The cherry on top is the outstanding duet narration - my favorite style.
