À propos de cet audio

Should you avoid red meat and eat only carbs, or avoid carbs and focus on healthy fats? Will 500 crunches a day turn that belly fat into a “six pack”, or should you stick to cardio three times a week? Changing Body Composition Through Diet and Exercise presents the latest scientific research about changing your body composition, along with diet and exercise recommendations in incremental steps that men and women of all ages and fitness levels can follow. From the macro to the molecular, this course takes a science-based view to debunk common weight-loss misconceptions and help you understand your own body better than you ever have.

Led by Professor Michael Ormsbee, Assistant Professor and Interim Director of the Institute of Sports Sciences and Medicine, you will gain access to cutting-edge research that demonstrates what does - and doesn’t - work. The lessons presented in this course can change your life by helping you to feel better, perform better, and be healthier now and into your older years.

great book with lot of useful information. some 20% could be trimmed though. focus more on diet and exercise adhering to the book title..could have also focused on mental aspects such as stress life - by giving some significant time in yoga, paranayama and breathing exercise

great book with lot of information.

I learned some facts I was not aware of from this course. It also gave me some pointers on how to make changes in my daily life to get my weight under control. While the professor did fumble some words time to time, it was not unlistenable. I would recommend this course to someone wanting to understand nutrition and how it effects their bodies.

This seems really informative. They didn't dumb it down. You see the connections. As you listen, other things you've heard about your body and aging make sense.

I fiercely recommend this as an owner's manual for your body. It has a vocabulary. It isn't always simple. It fairly represents what's going on in your body and it's good advice. Gave me a much bigger respect for nutritionists...

I learned a lot!

Excellent in something you can listen to again!

it is incredible. this guy spends literally 80% of the time stating the painfully obvious points. “exercising more is good” , “lifting weights will help you increase muscle mass” , “eat healthier diet” , all these sentences were said by him 50 times in various ways. i’ve never felt my time so disrespected by an audiobook.

Total waste of time for me
