À propos de cet audio
A chronically ill teen trades her hospital bed for a world of adventure, intrigue, and magic in the first installment of this imaginative LitRPG series.
For as long as she can remember, Phoenix Fraser has been stuck. Stuck in the wrong body, losing both friends and family, and no future to plan for. So when a mysterious entity known as the Night Witch appears in her room, offering her a new start in a strange land, she can't believe the opportunity to fulfill her ever-elusive potential.
At first, Phoenix is enraptured by the second chance at life into which she's been transported. Equipped with a new body that matches her spirit and, with it, discovering exciting new abilities—like respawning—she's suddenly on the sort of quest she'd only ever read about. But surviving the world of Makera isn't all fun and MMO-style games . . .
True danger lurks in every direction: namely, uncanny monsters, jealous nobles, and other cruel creatures who would destroy everything Phoenix cares about, including her very soul. Now, she'll have to rely on her wit and intuition alone to determine who to trust and befriend—before she finds herself at the mercy of mages, mercenaries, rivals, and even gods.
The first volume of the hit LitRPG fantasy series—with more than a million views on Royal Road—now available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook!

Sammy struggled through college until she's magically transported to another realm. In this new world, she's been transformed into the wholly (holy?) different form of a goddess. Now she has to acquire followers to appease the ever-helpful System while avoiding the blades of those who despise deities. To make matters worse, a certain god hungers for war, bringing a fated showdown closer with each passing day. And while her adjustment is challenging, the most intriguing part is that her powers have something to do with mirrors.

Alana wasn’t always a child of the Kingdom of Bergond. In fact, she hails from an entirely different world. But an accident on Earth left her dead, and she was reincarnated as the daughter of a farmer and his wife in the hamlet of Orsken. Now, she’s learning how to live in a land vastly unlike that which she came from—and how to wield the new powers she possesses. For, even by the rules of her strange new home, Alana is special: a young bard capable of mending wounds, counteracting poisons, and healing the sick, all through the use of mana and her own mind.

The strangest thing about Annie's new reality isn't that she's now in the body of a seven-year-old child, the beloved Lillith, feared dead by her family after a particularly nasty bout of pneumonia. It's that she's constantly having to conceal her adult intellect, which is not only advanced but otherworldly. Sure, being a young woman and a grad student in twenty-first-century America had its challenges, but this life as Lillith presents even tougher obstacles. She must tread carefully to conceal her vast knowledge of biology, math, physics, and . . . being an adult.

Ana just wanted to get home. To slip out of her dress and her heels, take a shower, and get into her PJs. Maybe have some hot chocolate before bed. It had been that kind of night. Instead, the kid she was bodyguarding got dragged through a hole in reality, and she went with him. The bad news is that once the smoke settled, once she’d dealt with the idiots who dragged them through time and space or whatever, Nic was dead, Ana had no way home, and she had to deal with magic and floating text and a forest full of demons.

Hannah has a routine. Wake up, take a shower, go to school, go to work, come home, and pass out. It's a perfectly normal routine for a perfectly normal girl who does not have to remember how her limbs work every morning because of haunting nightmares of being a very different creature in a very different world. That's all she thinks they are—nightmares—until one night, they're all too lucid, and her body on Earth starts to change. Slowly, Hannah's humanity starts to slip away... but surely she can continue just sticking to the routine, right? It'll be fine. It has to be.

When forensic accountant SJ is crushed by a rogue tree on her way home from the local pub, her death is as absurd as it is abrupt. But fate has a twisted sense of humour: instead of being sentenced to eternal oblivion, SJ's reborn in Amathera—a vibrant fantasy landscape full of magic, monsters, and a game-like System that really wishes she hadn't read the fine print. Armed with her sassy and overly sarcastic AI companion, Dave, and the questionable skills of a fae assassin, SJ is thrust into this mystical new world.

In 2025, the moon hatched and its child died. Things have since gotten worse. Some people have superpowers now, but so do the extradimensional invaders slowly wiping humanity out. By Julietta's eighteenth birthday, the war has been loss after loss for far longer than she's been alive, so she can't bring herself to be terribly shocked when the sky splits in half and weeps death. Surviving is the real surprise.

Henry and Jason led normal lives in Seattle before they were abducted to another world. Their kidnapper, the vain, self-styled god Dolos, refuses to send them back unless they can accomplish an impossible task. Oddly, Dolos doesn't seem to care if they succeed or not. Luckily, Henry and Jason studied Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) on Earth. Unfortunately, a Japanese American EMT and a geeky IT programmer don't have many other useful skills on a sword-and-sorcery world like Ludus.

When Mira’s home is destroyed by gods, she makes two requests to the System that sends her to another world: to be sent to an isolated forest where she can avoid the violent path to godhood, and to gain magic that helps her live and thrive in the forest. She is granted both, though in the harshest way possible. The System strands her in a dangerous forest where half the plants are poisonous, the rivers teem with souls, and even the smallest beasts lay waste to experienced adventurers.

Un problème est survenu. Veuillez réessayer dans quelques minutes.
Yes.
Do I expect the builder to show up?
Yes.
Is this it's own fun story with characters that I come to care about and is not just a copy of that other amazing adventure?
Yes, Yes. Yes!
Is the writing great and the narrator excellent?
Another happy Yes.
I've already recomended it to my friends, now I suggest you give it it's fair shot.
Hope you enjoy.
HWFWM Magic system with original characters and story.
Un problème est survenu. Veuillez réessayer dans quelques minutes.
* Great world-building and character development.
* Pacing is good (brisk, with mediation/cultivation details skipped)
* Similar magic system to HWFWM where you pick 4 aspects and evolve from there, except MC’s abilities are a lot more interesting compared to Jason's
* Narrator is very good with a very wide range of voices
What I don't like:
* Very disappointed with the stereotypical damsel-in-distress beginning, where MC acts like a normal teen girl - not smart (to put it nicely), indecisive, weak-willed, screams, cries, and gets knocked out a lot, but can miraculously get out of tough situations (due to luck, big muscular dude, and gods of course), and has powerful skills handed out to her like candy. I was hoping for better due to MC’s background, where she had been bedridden and endured constant hardship/pain for 18 years. She should at least have been mentally/emotionally strong and mature. It does get better as MC grows, but she never reaches the level of “special” that the book keeps claiming (ignoring her cheat skills).
* There are some hints of “chosen one” trope. It’s not a big factor right now, but I’m not sure how much influence it will have on MC in the future. I’m not a fan of a story where MC is “fated” to move along a fixed path.
* The story also puts some focus on the mentor, whom I liked at first, but he seems to become less mature as the relationship develops
flawed
