Dragonquest includes detailed combat scenes of dragons and their riders fighting Thread, hand to hand fights and an intense scene between two dragons. McCaffrey continued to build Pern in this book while escalating some of the political and interpersonal conflicts. Beautifully read!

Dragon quest has some of those most dramatic and well-written fight scenes I’ve read.

This was an excellent listen. The story is fantastic and the narrator is good. My only issue with the performance is that he seems to yell a lot. A lot of the times it sounds like everyone is angry
