À propos de cet audio

In the chilling aftermath of Good Boys: The Lost Tribe, Micah, Jess, and the ever-loyal Golden Retriever, Grover, seek refuge in the snowy seclusion of a New Hampshire farm, along with their new Kynolari friends.

As winter's grip tightens, so does the Draun's hold on Earth. The signal sent by the Visionary has awakened the Draun DNA inside two hundred and fifty million humans, the number increasing every day. Nowhere is safe, and humanity is on the brink of unimaginable chaos.

Forced to flee after a devastating attack on the farm, the heroes are scattered, pursuing desperate gambits across the globe. In the sands of Egypt, Praxion's team seeks to uncover the secrets of Anubis, the Egyptian god of death and the leader of the Kynolari's Lost Tribe. A second team, led by Chirk, ventures into the heart of Mexico, searching for a lost Incan temple of Xolotl, whose association with death and physical description match that of Anubis. Both teams race against time, guided by mysterious legends and plagued by dangers, both ancient and modern.

Separated from the others, Micah and Jess embark on a perilous journey south through a transformed America, now a mosaic of Draun-fueled terror, where danger lurks at every stop, and no one can be trusted.

As ancient truths unfold into dreadful revelations, the bonds of friendship, love, and loyalty are tested against the backdrop of humanity teetering on the edge of annihilation. The quest for hope, the fight for survival, and the battle for the soul of the species are woven into a tapestry of adventure, heartbreak, heroism, and humor.

Jeremy Robinson, #1 Audible and New York Times bestselling author, returns with a masterpiece of suspense, humor, and heart, where the greatest battles are fought within, and the hope of mankind may rest in the paws of a Golden Retriever named Grover.

Jeremy has done it again. A new masterpiece. And I'm so happy he decided to make it a trilogy! Great performance bu Tom Taylorson bringing all the wonderful characters to life. Highly recommended!

Love this series. Great balance of action humour and weighty emotional moments that aren’t overwrought.

Scoring Tom Taylorson to narrate was brilliant. He puts his amazing talents to full use and adds all of the levity and/or weight the characters and set pieces require. I could listen to him all day…which I did since I toe through this book in a day.

When a character with a unique voice then does an accent, I was blown away. Challenging to do but not impossible, however let me underscore the challenge of doing that. It’s not about how you would do an accent, you have to voice the accent the way the character would if he put on that accent for a few sentences then flow back to the normal characters accent. I think most people could learn to do that, but it’s a lot like patting your head while rubbing your tummy while singing the national anthem. It takes time and practice and Toms narration is full of these sorts of subtle moments that really blow my mind.

The book itself can be a bit gritty, I’m not complaining but it’s good to know going in. Usually that centres around sexual content and the like which I typically avoid in books but we are all grown ups here and some of the situations are really funny or maybe better said really awkward. Memorable anyway. Just fair warning.

Just know this book and series is worth it. It’s the perfect blend of writer and narrator and an exciting premise with an appeal that is well grounded in every day things, like your Dog.

Phenomenal series.

I am absolutely adoring this series and telling everyone I know to start reading it. I don’t think you have to be a dog-lover to get every nuance, but I am, and I do!

Why can’t every science fiction series have at least one alien race of Kynolari? And many, many Chirks!

Even better than the first!

An incredibly imaginative story that will make you laugh out loud, and sob like a baby. Robinson's ability to create a world with talking space dogs appeal to an adult audience is truly an art form. This sequel to The Lost Tribe is a must read.

A wild ride

Like the first, I really enjoyed this book. This is an action SF, so the story will not make you redefine your existence or your place in the universe, but you will never get bored, enjoying yourself while laughing out load. The performance of Tom Taylorson is a real treat: he is incredibly talentuous and, in my opinion, made the book better then if I had just read it. Truly recommend (even for a cat person!).

A very enjoyable and fun listening
