THE STORY

be warned; after reading this (listening to i guess) you will want to start an Imperial Knight army.

took my a little to get used to the narrator,

and for some reason it felt like the knights sizes compared to the world didnt stay quite consistent. but the story was great and the knight action was awesome. if you like warhammer 40k action you will like this book :)

This is a great and satisfying listen. It feels like it works well as an introduction to the Imperial Knights and Knight Worlds part of Warhammer 40k. The action is fun and well written. The pacing does a good job of interspersing character focused dialogue/introspection parts with action without it slowing things down at all. There is a nice underdog vibe with them having to face overwhelming odds and not give up. Everything builds up to some awesome payoff at the end. The characters are done well and serve the needs of the story in a good way. It's absolutely worth checking out.
