I really really liked this! Cillian and Rory were so perfect together🥰 Cillian is supposed to be this grumpy British bad boy in need of an attitude adjustment and image makeover, but he was so sweet to Rory! I loved that she gave him the chance other’s didn’t and get to know the man behind the reputation. What started out as a mutually beneficial agreement, lead to something more than either of them bargained for! I’m feral for a moment when the hero is helping the heroine with dating, but he’s overwhelmed with jealousy when he sees it in action☺️ Found family is one of my favourite tropes and I think it will be really good in this series! The dynamic between Cillian’s teammates and Rory was really fun, and I loved the bond she had with her dad, their coach. I did wish there was more rugby, and that we got to know some of the side characters a little better, but I’m sure we will in the other books! I know I’ll be picking them up! ✨Bonus points for no third act breakup✨

Audio Specific🎧: Matt Sykes is the PERFECT choice for British bad boy of rugby Cillian Cairney. I can’t imagine anyone else voicing Cillian. Both Matt and Stella Hunter who voiced Rory did an excellent job of bringing the characters and their romance to life! They delivered both the fun banter dialogue as well as the emotional moments beautifully. I couldn’t recommend this more!

The male voice was fine, but when he acted out the other characters he made them sound like cartoon characters, really threw it off. I wish I read, not listened. But the story is cute.
