Fun Urban Fantasy Read

Quirky and cute, this is a book that brought me a great deal of fun. The story is easy to get into and follows some unconventional characters as they try to solve a supernatural mystery.

Greta and her supernatural characters are all very easy to like, though I didn’t feel they got a ton of development. The book seemed to focus on the different bonds they had with each other, which is great for any reader looking for a book filled with strong friendships. There is also the start of a romantic plot line that will likely be furthered in later books.

The story is easy to follow and just complicated enough to pose danger to our heroes. Even with all manner of supernatural creatures inside the pages, the threat becomes very real the closer our heroes get to it.

STRANGE PRACTICE is a short book that can be enjoyed over an autumn weekend and is great for anyone looking to indulge in urban fantasy and the supernatural.

A fun adventure

This book was fun but so much more than that. Lovely prose, lovable and gentle characters, and a group adventure to boot.
