If your looking for a dark mafia romance, this isn’t it. This is predictable. It was okay, didn’t lag on. Abit too much sexual activity, you don’t need it every 30 seconds.

The story is good and simple but I personally did not feel deep emotions trough the book between the characters. His harsh at the beginning and she gives in to fast and easy. Then she is tough and as soon as she gets in danger she is so breakable. There are contradictions and it brakes the passion for me. I could not connect to the story. The ending is a nice surprise but not fitting the story for me.

The narrators were amazing the plot the flow the writing was very well put together. I’ll be listening to this again.

DNF for me. The audio for the female narration felt off. There is a pitch drop/falling intonation after almost every sentence. Could be the voice actor or the person editing the audio. Very distracting, gave up chapter 12.
