The beginning is very good but there's not enough suspense to carry off the book until the end. It's a shame because I'm a fan of Swansons books and his writing and character development is what kept me reading. I liked the return of Harry Kimbill.

This was a good entry in the 3 books so far. I appreciated having multiple narrators, it helped. I found a few plot points a bit too convenient. I read the third book, then the first, then this. I guess I just expected a bit more explanation at certain points. overall though, a good listen

Swanson never disappoints

Peter Swanson’s new suspense thriller grabbed me from the first sentence. His prose is full and fluid, his writing is guided by a poetic ear for rhythm that makes it a joy to read and to listen to. The Kind Worth Saving is another brilliant addition to Peter his impressive portfolio, I love all his work. I live inside the worlds he creates. I know the characters I meet in them. I rate this audiobook 5/5, with a special nod to the four narrators who bring it all to life! As a side-note, I found changing the playback speed up a few notches made both Kathleen Early and Micky Shiloah easier to listen to.
