I was blessed by entangled publishing to receive a review copy of this book, I can't really call it advance because the book was already out at that point. Since the book was already published i decided to read and listen at the same time, I am a sucker for a good immersive reading experience.
The Never List by Jade Presley was everything I look for in a romantasy book, I love the broody male characters who don't trust anyone but each other. I love the strong FMC who has had to fight tooth and nail her entire life for everything she has only to find men who would prefer she never lift a finger again but won't stop her if that's what she wants.
I did however find some of the major plot points to be relatively predictable, which doesn't take away from a story for me.
This story gave me zodiac academy vibes if the FMC ended up with all 4 characters instead of just one. That could have been because the male narrator was Jake Bordeaux. I have never met a book narrated by Jake that I didn't love and this was no exception. Michelle Price did a fantastic job making her voice changes between female characters, allowing me to differentiate with ease.
Overall I highly recommend this book if you want an easy and enjoyable romantic fantasy, but the ending is going to leave you wanting so much more and the next book doesn't have a release date as far as I can find.

This is a why-choose romantasy. We have a strong FMC with integrity, and a sharp edge,Rylee, she is at the bottom of this monarchy.
4 MMC, The Legends of Chaos.
The dreamer, The mind, The player and The Nightmare, they are sons of ruthless kings and goddesses, that went to sleep for this world protection. The plot takes us all over this beautiful new world and you will fall in love with each city and their people. While the spice is spicing, and this men are everything your will desire there will be challenges to overcome. I don’t want to give away anything from the book, each of the guys has such a great personality that is a perfect combination for a why choose. The magic system is easy and interesting. Rylee is there to find her sister and she got herself into the sights of The nightmare who is his time to choose for their mate.
The audiobook is great, the narrators have done an amazing job with this. I do wish it was a duet, but both Michelle and Jake were brilliant.
I can’t wait for the next book, and see there this story is taking us!

Each prince brings their own unique dynamic to the story, and their relationships with the protagonist are multifaceted and compelling. The way they interact with her, and with each other, adds depth and tension to the narrative.
