À propos de cet audio
Celebrating 25 Years as a New York Times Bestseller — Over 16 Million Copies Sold
It’s no wonder that The Power of Now has sold over 16 million copies worldwide and has been translated into over 30 foreign languages. Much more than simple principles and platitudes, the book takes readers on an inspiring spiritual journey to find their true and deepest self and reach the ultimate in personal growth and spirituality: the discovery of truth and light. In the first chapter, Tolle introduces listeners to enlightenment and its natural enemy, the mind. He awakens readers to their role as a creator of pain and shows them how to have a pain-free identity by living fully in the present. The journey is thrilling, and along the way, the author shows how to connect to the indestructible essence of our Being, “the eternal, ever-present One Life beyond the myriad forms of life that are subject to birth and death.” Featuring a new preface by the author, this paperback shows that only after regaining awareness of Being, liberated from Mind and intensely in the Now, is there Enlightenment.

For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Covey's book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, has been a top seller for the simple reason that it ignores trends and pop psychology for proven principles of fairness, integrity, honesty, and human dignity. Celebrating its 15th year of helping people solve personal and professional problems, this special anniversary edition includes a new foreword and afterword written by Covey that explore whether the 7 Habits are still relevant and answer some of the most common questions he has received over the past 15 years.

We tend to think of meditation as a formal practice we block time out for each day. But what if every moment of your life was your meditation? For Eckhart Tolle, meditation shouldn't be approached as a chore or a means to an end. Rather, meditation is something that you live. "The aim of meditation," states Eckhart, "is that it eventually becomes your normal state of consciousness." Essential Meditations with Eckhart Tolle points the way toward this quiet, constant state of Presence - where practice gives way to the realization of your innermost identity.

In The Surrender Experiment, Michael A. Singer tells the extraordinary story of what happened when, after a deep spiritual awakening, he decided to relinquish his personal fears and desires and simply let life unfold before him. Singer shares how this pivotal decision to embrace the flow of life led him to extraordinary success, sustained him through times of crisis, and allowed him to cultivate profound inner peace—whether as a young man pursuing a life of solitude in the woods, the founder of a thriving spiritual community in Florida, or the CEO of a billion-dollar medical software company.

Ce que les critiques en disent
For me, this is the Mama Jama of super-soulful books. At every moment, it keeps me in a state of awe and amazement.” — Oprah Winfrey
“One of the best books to come along in years. Every sentence rings with truth and power.” — Deepak Chopra, author of The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success
“A marvelous wake-up call. Tolle’s message rings loud and clear. It is right here, we only have to wake up to it. I heartily recommend this profoundly inspiring book to all seekers today.” — Lama Surya Das, author of Awakening the Buddha Within
Our present day existence is quickly becoming mired in negativity, unhappiness and confusion. Over working leads to stress, anxiety and depression. My doctor recently told me that 80% of his patient's visits are directly related to one of these. Mental health is silently under siege and becoming the most important health issue of our current era.
Most of us are walking around disconnected from the true source/meaning of life, in an unconscious state taken over by the ego and the mind. We are constantly re-living the past and hoping for a better tomorrow all the while forgetting about the most important place of all, the Present. It is here and deep within ourselves that we can find and confront/heal our pains and be free from all fear, unhappiness and anger.
Mr. Tolle is an expert in the subject matter because he personally has dealt with such in his own life. He has mixed his experiences with his adept interpretations from other spiritual and religious teachings and combined them in a way that makes perfect sense.
I personally worked myself into the ground in the last year and have been slowly making my way back. I would never wish to relive that again but deep down inside I am glad it happened because I believe now that it was time for me to change my path in life (it's never too late). This book has opened my eyes and spirit anew, I have already made great strides in not only getting better but being happier and healthier than ever before.
I believe that Mr. Tolle wrote this book not for $$$s like most out there, but because he truly understands & cares about the current state of people's being. I have read it twice and will read it again to reinforce the important teachings that he has bestowed in this book.
If you are unhappy, wondering why you can't get over certain things from your past, or seem unable to get out of negative loops in your life... the time maybe now to get a fresh perspective and find the real meaning of it all deep down inside.
Take care and I hope you find the profound enlightenment that I did inside these pages. Thank you Eckhart, you are a modern day Sage!
