The characters in this book
Are full and alive as they live out events of World War 1. I was looking for a new historical fiction writer who tells stories of women doing groundbreaking things and I found it! Perk is the setting in World War 1 which is rarer than others.

The author is not an experienced writer but the tale is worth reading/ listen. I found the details well well researched. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in WW1 history. Congratulations to the author.
