The last man of a lost cause

The writing on this book is just not up to the standards of the first series. Way to much introspection and reflection on the past of everything. This book is more like a history montage than a book with a story. yeah, he's on a mission, but if you cut out all the repetitive looking back, it would probably only be about a 30 (at the very most) minute book. I slogged through it and the ones before but don't think I can do the next ones... Disappointing because I have read (listened to) nearly every single other GE book.
