À propos de cet audio

Kevin Federline: dancer, father, accidental pop culture icon. His star rose electrifying stages alongside Pink, Destiny’s Child, Aaliyah, and more. But it was his turbulent marriage to pop superstar Britney Spears that made him a household name and triggered a relentless media storm, reducing him to a caricature in a world that barely knew him.

Behind the tabloid headlines was a devoted father fighting for his children and his sanity, navigating the fallout of fame and a fractured family, as everything around him spun out of control. From the heights of global stardom to the pain of public ridicule, this memoir peels back the layers of celebrity, fatherhood, and survival to reveal the man behind the mythology.

A man shaped not by spectacle or spotlight, but by love, resilience, and the steadfast resolve to give his kids a normal life. What you thought you knew was only half the story.

I did not have high hopes for Kevin’s account. But at the end I found it (overall) thoughtful, mature, and seemingly honest. Hearing things from his perspective felt reflective and frank. He acknowledges mistakes and I’m sure there are some he’s downplaying (he’s human). I think it’s absolutely his right to tell his version of his life story from his voice. Take it or leave it, I think he did it right.

Pleasantly surprised

The entire book was about Britney, very sad. He comes across as misogynistic because he expected her to stay home with the kids yet he was out travelling, partying and trying to get his career to take off 6 weeks after the kid was born. Makes zero sense. She was the bread winner. HE should have stayed home. There were alot of holes in his story. Definitely a money grab and this won't help anyone but his pocket. Timing is convenient as well.

overrated

So I listened to this book over two days, I found it very interesting. Other reviews read that it was mostly about Britney and that she didn’t deserve this.. Kevin had the right to tell his truth.
I believe this story from him. Everything that he outlined about Britney We’ve seen. I mean, we saw the TikTok with her with knives in her hands, acting erratically, we’ve seen so much of her behavior. I was a part of this free Britney movement, but I’m sitting here thinking I really had no right because I wasn’t even in her life or even knew her personally or the family personally for that matter. His title you thought you knew is absolutely correct. I’m thankful, and I know it’s none of my business because it’s not my life, etc. etc., that he raised these kids. He gave them their best life. Good for you, Kevin. I’m ashamed that I was a part of any of that, I had no right… I didn’t know any of the facts or any of the behind-the-scenes stuff I was just thinking that she was being controlled and not having her own life, but it’s quite obvious that she needs help… She needed it then, she needs it now. I’m glad I read this book. I learned a big lesson.

I believe this story

I found this book basically told the story I suspected all along. Kevin has taken a beating in the press...but HE IS THE ONE that has provided security, balance, and steadfast support of those boys. If you can't see Brittany is a mess since the conservatorship ended, you are in denial. He takes a lot of heat, but I believe him, his boys love him and Victoria, he has been a good parent. This book just tells his side of things so we get it.

This was more like how he’s trying to convince he is the world‘s greatest father, and he’s telling Brit’s story. Every chapter was about Britney Spears, when it should be about his current wife as well, but she only got one chapter. I guess when the child support payment stopped, he had to make money somehow it’s just a coincidence that when they stopped, he decided to tell his story.

Professional father
